PHP 5 Handler?

I was recommended to stick with php5x but I would like to ask an advice which php handler is the best secure to have on hosting server: dso vs cgi vs SuPHP?
I currently have dso with Suexec on and few accounts but I read that SuPHP is safer. What do you recommend?
If I do change the server to SuPHP should I enable Suexec as well in the whm: Configure Suexec and PHP?

suPHP and FastCGI are the best handlers in terms of security because they both runs PHP outside of the Apache script as CGI. How ever FastCGI is faster than suPHP but it consumes more memory.
