First to do when testing the speed of your internet connection, check if nothing and no one is using your Internet connection. Off your WiFi if you are using your Desktop via LAN, or make sure you are close enough to the wireless route. Next is i will open my browser and Often time i use Speedtest.net. I always do test my connection to other site such as speedof.me or testmy.net for me to compare the result and know if the testing site is reliable.

There are a lot of speed test that you can use in any websites. You just need to pick who is more reliable. For better results in using the speed test, I suggest that you contact your internet provider. Every internet provider has their own websites with speed test in it. But for you to save time you can just go to google and type speed test and it will run a speed test for you. It is also reliable too since it is Google. You can also research in google on what website is reliable in conducting a speed test.

I simply go to sites that offers speed test on your Internet provider, just put proper information about your ISP, start the test, then there is the result after few seconds of testing your ISP's servers.

You download speedtest via google play and add it as an extension to your google chrome. From there, every time you want to test your internet speed, it would just be a click away. You don't need to open another browser for that. Just click the speedtest icon on your toolbar and it will work its' magic. :icon_rock:

For you to test the accuracy of internet speed, reset your modem/router, close all applications that is running on your computer. You can use any program for running a speed test, open your browser and just type in internet speed test. Any program will do and just run the application at least 3 times.

The changes in the speed of your internet connection always vary from time to time. We just don't notice this at all but if you think that the speed is getting slow and the internet connection is not giving the same service and speed as it used to. Try speedtest this is often what I use to check my internet speed and connection. Try it twice or trice just to be sure you get the right information from your speedtest results.

I use speedtest.net
I have used several internet speed testing sites in the past, but I find myself going to back to speedtest.net for several reasons.
It has a ton of bandwidth locations in several different countries, so the accuracy of your speed is never in question. It's user-friendly and easy to navigate and understand. Also, there's an app! So, I like it a lot. I usually recommend it to anyone who asks.

I use SpeedTest by Ookla. I have to test my internet speed before I start working, however, sometimes, the speed is good but the connection to the calls aren't and I wonder why. More so, I am not sure what do the Download and Upload speed means or what are their differences.

In my case, I just search online and look for speedtest sites. Of course, we do have different processes but I think it works fine.
