what is bounce rate? whether it should be high or low for the websites.? Kindly explain.

A "Bounce" is when some visits your website, but leaves before viewing any other pages.

Your "Bounce Rate" is the percentage of the site visitors that bounce off your site before viewing any other pages.

A high bounce rate is a indication of poor design, poor content, poor marketing, or poor site performance.

Bounce rate is the ratio of visitor, who comes to your website and leaves instantly after viewing only one page without visiting to another page. Basically Google designed this bounce rate to know whether your site has the right audience visiting to your pages.
