Google Adwords or Forums for advertising web hosting services?

I would like to know which is the best one among these 2 type of advertising that helping increasing traffic for web hosting companies. Google Adwords or Forums for advertising web hosting services. Which is better, affective and save money?

After having your business running, you need to promote your site in order to get traffic and revenue also. There're many ways to promote, for both free methods and paid methods.

Free methods such as: Doing SEO, Social Media Content sharing, Youtube Sharing, Facebook Content, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest,...and many other channels that give you free using and promotions

Paid methods such as: Doing SEM such as Google adwords, GDN, Solo ads, Facebook ads, banner ads,...

So it depend on your budgets that you will choose which methods that can give you the best effort, or you need to combine between free & paid methods in order to get the effective results

I would go with forums. I would say Adsense can work but you need the big bucks to play with the big dogs when it comes to Google exposure, you could burn a whole bunch of cash and so little in return for it. Forums are also not just for advertising it gives potential customers a feeling of they know this company even before buying which builds buyers confidence, rather than some random website they ended up on via Adsense.

Adsense will cost a lot more to get conversions versus paid advertising on forums. Adsense for web hosting is pretty well owned by the huge hosting companies out there with millions of dollars available for marketing.

Definitely forum advertising. More targeted and also much more cost effective. The secret though (if you are looking to increase ROI) is make sure you are an active contributor on the forum you are advertising (not jut fluff posts, but meaningful posts that readers actually find interesting.

If you have the funds, know your target audience then Google advertising will definitely be a much better option. ... Please keep in mind if you have not used Google Advertising then it will be a learning curve andf that might be a bit costly. If you are ging to go with google be sure to make good use of the rep that they assign to you.
