We are spending around $4000 to $5000 monthly for Google adwords for our products, I don't know Google adwords will work for web hosting or not but a thing you need to consider is I have never bought a web hosting through Google ads, almost I bought web hosting through reviews and recommendations from friends.

In my personal opinion, you will be difficult to generate enough revenue for what you spent (for Google ad) because pricing of each web hosting package is not high while you can need to bid $2+ for per click on Google ad for your ad, that costs much.

Thats right. Google ads are expensive and if you have enough to spend on marketing , we can take advantages of google ads.

I am not a web hosting provider so I can't speak from experience in that niche/field but I can say that I know that the keywords and their CPC are high for most terms that a web hosting service provider would normally use in Adwords so it can be costly. If you got a good return on the investment then it would be worth it.

Bing Ads might be a better alternative to get more bang for the buck since their CPC is lower than that of Google Adwords

Although the Google ads is a good product, you have to consider your competition. Some of the larger hosting providers sped $10,000/mo or more on Google ads. Unless you have the same budget, your not going to compete with them on add placement.

While small, your better off posting paid adds on specific niche sites.

Unless you have deep pockets then go for adwords , but if you don't then you might want to try forum ads , banners as these are more effective and has a higher ROI from my experience.

It will only work if you are having a big budget. Just check the CPC for hosting keywords and you will know what I am talking about.

Exactly Google adwords needs high budget to go with, if no, you will be out of money for advertising quickly
Using forum ads or forum marketing is cheaper and free.

Yes, it is beneficial for web hosting but chooses long tail keywords that effects on your business.
You are talking about SEO or Google adwords?

He is talking about using long tail keywords in Adwords campaign I believe. The reason being cost per click being high for the hosting niche.

Google Ad-words is good way to represent your ads on the Internet. I am wpspeedste” agreed with her. Google ad-word is expensive for ads however it doesn't provide Web hosting services. Basically I have no personal experience with it.

As mentioned, Google isn't cheap. It is one of those things that you need to have money and time to invest to see any sort of positive outcome. Throwing a few bucks at advertisement be it through Google or social media like Facebook won't get you anywhere. You need to INVEST.

Of course google ad is not cheap and Facebook is too and you need to spend more for FB ad if you want to have some conversions from which you advertised there.
I would suggest to advertise on hosting blogs or high traffic sites related to web hosting field. that will be more efficient.

What are you even talking?

Google adwords is good for keyword research in terms of PPC and not your traditional keyword research.

Google doesn't show exact number of the volume for per keyword thus it is not a good tool for keyword research.

Did you try Google adwords for hosting? what is CPC for each keyword?

More than $100 CPC if I am not wrong. You will end up wasting a lot of money if you do not know what you are doing. You can also go with Bing PPC and the CPC should be lower than Adwords.

AdWords is great for any niche and nearly any budget.

You have to focus on profitability, no clicks.

You can make AdWords work for any market if you know what you are doing.

I'd recommend you share web hosting offers on different forums or sites that's relevant to your service rather than using Google Adwords. You got an active community for free that's relevant to your services which you can also communicate with and be your potential clients.

Hello
Have a wonderful day.

Google Ad words is not a web hosting company. I didn't heard any where about it. May be you have seen some good advertise from Google Adsense ad about web hosting. The world best web hosting platform name is hostgator.com

You can check the service. I think you will become happy by watching this wonderful web hosting company available with regular and cloud hosting server.

Thanks
Centurion

We can't deny that Google Adwords doesn't work. After spending money on ads, definitely, we get positive results. It depends upon your budget. How much, you can spend and get the result in minimum time.
