I've had my website now for 3 years and there are currently no ADs on them, but I want to change that. So, I was wondering, if Google or Bing was the way to go?

Google has a lot to offer when it comes to advertising. Popularity-wise, Google still rank higher than Bing. It really depends on your preference when it comes to advertising.

You should also consider InfoLinks. That is also an effective and profitable solution. It's also worth differentiating between Google AdSense and Google AdWords here as they are two completely different services. The first is for generating revenue using your website(s) and the second is for advertising.

Google has a wide range of users which is much more larger than bing users in amount. So I can suggest you go for Google Adwords. Ans also Google Adwords will help you to rank some of your keywords.

I would suggest Google Adwords. They have a deep catalog of advertisers so your visitors will often be presented with a relevant advertisement, increasing the likelihood of them clicking the ad.

When it comes to making money from advertisements on your website, personally I would suggest that you opt for Google AdSense. Just be careful with the ads, as there should not be too much of them. It shouldn't look as if your website is focused mainly on revenue, not on users.

Although I am not too familiar with Bing, I do know that Google offers many resources and information on admitting ads to your website. And in my personal opinion, I think Google is the way to go due to the fact that it is very popular amongst internet users, and you have more of a chance connecting with other companies and ads through Google. Additionally, Google has been proven to be very reliable and many professionals on the internet rely on Google to provide them with ads for their website. Good Luck!

I would suggest that Google Adwords is better. Why? You're probably more familiar with Google Adwords which is the most common platform. Whenever a user runs a search, AdWords determines which ads to show to them based on your keyword Quality Score and Bid. You may be surprised to know that all of these concepts are the same for Bing Ads. I know what you're thinking, Bing who?” Before you totally dismiss it as a viable marketing channel, it's worth knowing what some of the key differences are and how they perform.

Depends on what I'm advertising. Importantly, I could care less about CPC when my goal is conversions (assuming I have solid conversion data).
In general, when using a low funnel approach (e.g. get a free trial) I find AdWords search tends to work best. When using a high/middle funnel approach (e.g. get a free ebook), FB often performs better. The real answer is why not test both.

I'd rather choose google because of their powerful advertisement strategy. Surely your product or service will take a good exposure in the market.

Both google adword and bing are well known and reputed advertisement provider. It is fact that google adword is much and more reputed than bing, but practically bing beats google AdWords in the following ways,
-Bing ads has less competition (due to less regestered users) and cheaper CPC
- Unlike in AdWords, Bing allows you to assign different campaigns for different time zones. This makes sophisticated ad scheduling strategies far easier to manage in Bing, particularly if your campaigns reach internationally.
-Bing ads has different device targeting options like one can see different ads in desktop, tablet and smartphone.
- Bing ads are social extension favourable.Bing began testing automated social extensions in late 2014 by showing the number of Twitter followers an advertiser has next to their ad.

Personally we use adwords for offline businesses, it generates large revenues and is the most popular engine vS bing - Even when we used it for hosting the traffic count at top prices was crazily low!

Google all the way. Any ads you can get from Google and get people to click on, you will get a better payout than Bing, just because of traffic volume. However I would advise against Adwords because Adwords is extremely annoying to users on your website. Just use banner ads and you'll probably be fine. But Adwords is a telltale sign of a poorly optimized website most of the time as well unfortunately, in my experience on the internet.

Google is more popular. Bing might be untapped real estate.

Why don't you try split testing it and see what gets better results. What's your goal of the ads?
