Hey Guys!
Been asked a couple of times by advertising networks as they would like to advertise on my site. Some would like put an article on my blog, some want to buy banner ads. I'm wondering, what is the going rate and how do you propose to them? Do you charge base on amount of visitors on your blog daily?

Take a look at some other site that offer advertising. Look for site in a similar niche, with similar traffic as yours.

This will give you a basic idea of how much you could charge.

The price that you will be charging totally depends on the authoritativeness of your blog. For instance, if you have a high traffic website with a good domain authority (DA), then you can charge a high price for an article with a dofollow link. Otherwise, you can start with charging a small amount.

The price you charge for ads is based on how much traffic you get to it. If you tell people that you get a few hundred hits per week, they are not going to get many people seeing the ad, so they will pay less. If they see that they will get a lot of people seeing their ad, they will pay more.

A good place to look is buysellads.com You will eb able to see the estimated views and how much people are charging for them. If you are not getting many views, I would start low and when you do get more views you can raise the price :)

Hope this helps a bit

It base on alexa ranking how much traffic you have on daily, weekly or monthly its also depends on which regions you got the mostly traffic on your website. if the traffic from USA and UK then you charge 5$ for 1000 impression or you can fix your slot selling at 500$ for 0.1 million impression.
