I have used Wordpress in the pass so it was not that good I haven't used Blogger by Google but it looks good. So you should try Blogger by Google I don't if its still there also Tumblr is another good one.

I have not used blogger but I used Wordpress for my all blogs. Blogger is a free platform where you can publish your content and if you want Wordpress site then you have to purchase a domain name and hosting.
