What topic should i write about?
I'd been blogging about my hobbies but it is not pulling in any money, why?
Engagements are low in my blog what should do?

Some of the random questions on blogging.

I could suggest a lot of things and others as well about what to blog.
The question is:

Do you enjoy what you do?
Area you interested on what blog you actually started?
Are your content worth blogging?

I know that is a common motive to get passive income on blogging. But i suggest since you're starting up, It would be great if you just take it as a hobby and blog what you think is fun for you that you may enjoy for a while. Then when you are confident to take it on the next level, These are the factors to bear in mind:

PASSION

You must ask yourself what you're passionate about. Have you found it exactly? If yes, whatever it is, write about that.

VALUE

Blog is basically nothing without readers. The way you will get QUALITY READERS to your site is you must add value to the readers lives. Something they can comprehend with, Specially on day to day basis.

VISION

Familiar with the saying "Love at first sight"? Well, It also applies at your blog. Having a good theme will also increase the chance of engagements. Also It's hard to create a good theme if you don't know what you want it to look like. Vision on what you wanted to look like in the future is important. Something easy for the readers to work with but elegant as well.

and finally,

RESEARCH

Sometimes it feels that you know all specially on a blog you already start building, But it really takes no time to spend researching what you're writing about. It will eventually help you to support your topics and you may find yourself also useful to those who are confused.

Exactly because these 3 main points cover all things to succeed with blogging.

If you don't know what you will do or seriously what niche you will choose for your blog then it will be very broad and you will be very difficult to target your audience to your blog. Beside which you choose for your blog to start with, then content plays an important role in attracting visitors to your blog to find useful information or just need some help.

That's correct! In start everyone find it very easy and start with very enthusiasm but when it comes to search on topic which will attract the readers with the quality and unique contents then everyone leave it.

Quality contents with the fruitful and unique contents are important for the blogging. If you have the good way to represent the contents then you will win the game. You should concentrate on why, how, when these three wh questions while blogging.

It will surely add points! Sometimes I just ask my friends/family what he/she like to do more online. Sometimes It helps to ask question, it would really help specially if you're doing it for fun!

Great ideas! I believe it is a part of the factors for "Searching". SEO is also a great technique for "Internet marketing strategy". Since mobile search had surpassed desktop search nowadays. Optimizing your website with it is a good move. Same aspects should do on social media.

Blogging is trending way of passive income. First, you should have the passion together with love of what your topic is all about. Having the knowledge and interest about the topic could expand your idea.Reserch would be a big help as well or conducting survey. The content must be interesting that would encourage the readers or convince the customers. The packaging on how you deliver, the presentation , the use of unique terms and idiology would be great factor. The rate of competitions is quite high. It just makes a difference on the title that could make the audience love at first and the quality content which matters most.

Until now I never tried blogging, though it sounds interesting. I'm not quite sure if I have talents in blogging and in case I have I don't know how to start. Right now I am in the proccess of learning on how to make websites and about online marketing. That's why I love to explore in this forum because I always learn something new here.

I love to read some blogs, because I always learn something from their experience, and feel I'm not alone on that particular situation. The way they write their blog, you almost feel that you were on the writer situation. And then I wonder, I can do this things too, I can make my own blog, but my life is a private thing, and I don't want to open in public.

I have made so many sites for my blogs, and I saw how hard it is to put in articles, I was not able to focus on it and was not able to write new posts. But now I am regularly writing anything that comes to my mind i put it on my notes in my cellphone and when I get home write it on a draft in my blog. For me sharing things like experiences are a way for you to help others with the same situation and then you will be able to have your thoughts across to other people and get some comments from them or suggestions to make your blog lively.

Are you marketing and advertising your blog? I don't think you can just write posts and leave them there for someone to find, no matter how good your content is. You need to understand the world we are living in. I would advise you to use social media and SEO tactics. Both of which it takes a simple search on Google to learn.

How interesting is your blog? Is it a trending niche? Is the content interesting and helpful? Is it written in a way that can be read? Is it short and to the point? Is the blog attractive to the eye? Remember studies show beautiful women get further ahead in life.

Get someone to look at the above points and give you an unbiased opinion

These are great tips! I am quite interested on how to blog as well. I have known simple people who were just simple bloggers and just made a fortune by mere blogging. Since that happened, I am really eager to learn new things especially with what I've been reading from the comments here. If you love writing then I believe someone can blog about their passion and if they want to dedicate their life to blogging.

One thing I observed about successful bloggers is their focus on a common theme or topic. Like if they are experts in traveling or relationships, they just talk about this and do not digress. This way they do not spread themselves and becomes an authority or specialist in the eyes of the readers. The manner of presentation is another factor as it should not be boring but instead be visually appealing or easy to read or understand and engaging enough to attract reactions or follow-up topics connected to the blog. Most people can relate easily to topics involving daily encounters and challenges in life and would like to get insights or solutions from others.

Quality content in an attractive website is just the beginning but you have to make sure you have other strategies in place like use of backlinks, guest blogging, advertisement, promotion in other social media sites, etc. to ensure you get good search engine rankings to attract visitors to your website. This may sound complicated in the beginning but you have to learn these stuff and research on your target market to evolve and make a success in your website.
