I first heard about PayPal from a website that accepted me as an article writer. It was their only mode of payment so I had to setup an account. I opted for a personal PayPal account because it was what they recommended. Besides, I could really receive and transfer cash with that account.

However, I plan to set up an online store in one of my websites to sell merch (gonna sell some personalized shirts) and one of the payment modes that I want is PayPal. For this online store, a personal account is not enough. I'll need to have either a premier PayPal account or a business account.

Now I don't want to violate any of their terms and policies. I want to know if I can have multiple PayPal accounts. Do you think it's okay to have a personal account and a business account?

You cannot have two different paypal accounts. It is against theri policy. If you want to use paypal for business propose, you need to upgrade your personal account to business account or premier account. If you want to retain your personal paypal and still want to use paypal for busines spurpose, you may talk to paypal. When you follow theri advice, even if that measn you create another acount, you are not biolating theri terms.

Can I have multiple PayPal accounts? Yes. You can have one Consumer account and one Business account. You can add more email addresses, debit or credit cards, and bank accounts to your account, but each account must have its own email address and financial information.
- this information is according to paypal's website itself.

Though I tried making a consumer account but I cant seem to make one. I am not sure if I am just doing something wrong or perhaps this is no longer possible as everytime I sign up it always defaults to business account.

But with regards to multiple accounts yes you can defintely do that as long as you use different email addressess for each account. Tried that before too. It would be a bit confusing though to keep track of it all. I would instead suggest keeping a single account and perhaps adding alot of bank accounts or debit cards on your profile or account. Thats is what is suggested by paypal too. Seems like a better solution. Do you agree?

yes you can have multiple PayPal accounts but in a latest updates you should Link your bank account to send money or to receive money, if you have lot of bank accounts will you can create multiple account.

Because in a latest updates you can't send money w/o linking your bank account or credit card. So I'll suggest that don't create multiple PayPal accounts.

I doubt if you can have multiple PayPal accounts because it needs opening with you real name. You can have many email adresses linked to your PayPal account. This will be convenient since you will only have to validate once. :D

Through my experience, you cannot gave multiple account with paypal unless one consumer and one business. They will be validating your location, phone number and email address. It's also stated in their policy that one country one account only. I'm presently located here in HK but different nationality, I even tried to make an account in my own country but cannot. Whatever nationality you belong, you must give your information in your present country of residence.

Paypal allows one Consumer account and one Business account. You can add more email addresses, debit or credit cards, and bank accounts to your account, but each account must have its own email address and financial information. If you have two different companies identified each with their own individual business bank accounts and/or credit cards, you can have two separate PayPal accounts. Paypal also offer other business solutions but you have to request directly to them. You can inquire thru their support link in the website.

You can as long as its a different email address. I have already tried it and works fine. Even if your details are the same. Upgrading your account works fine too. Some of the paying sites pays you with bitcoin. If this is the case. You can make an account with coins.ph

You can have a business and a personal account for PayPal. I have a personal account, and my husband has an account and both of those personal accounts are linked to our joint checking account. That seems to be okay, they have never said anything to us.
