How to choose the best blogging platform?

Suggest me best blogging platform for blog posting .Which is easy to customize and free of cost?

My option is

Blogger
Wordpress
Tumblr

Wordpress is free but Blogger also owned by Google so I thought it has any advantages on SEO if I go with this platform.

I suggest you to go with Self hosted WordPress. It is one of the best and widely used CMS for blogging. WordPress is very intuitive and easy to manage. You can create almost any type of site using WordPress.

Free services are not your's and you have no control over them. All your work could be gone over night. They have their uses, but not the best way to build your entire business. If that is what your thinking.

Plus the free blogs on wordpress.com, they don't like blogs that market or sell, they delete them.

As already mentioned, self-hosted Wordpress is a pretty good way to go.

I suggest you to go with Wordpress. because in this blogging platform you can manage your blog with different customization option like theme change, colors( for background and text), wigets, images etc. Apart from this Tumblr is also be a good choice but not better than Wordpress.

I want to build new sites for making money online hence cut costs will help me use the money for other purposes.

I tried but I realized that its hard to edit parts with self hosted wordpress

but it requires the user to have little understanding of how to make a website . And bloggers ( aka Web 2.0 is very much simpler ) . My advice to you is if you want long-term with blogging select wordpress

I am a bit little more agree with this opinion, Wordpress is not quite the best for SEO, if you use WP, you still need to optimize it for SEO by installing SEO plugins to help your site optimized for SEO.

For normal users, Wordpress is a great choice and you can use it with default settings but if you can improve it with optimizations, I am sure it will have more advantages over other platforms.

The most powerful blogging platform is .... YOU.
You can use any platform but if you are just have blog then you will fall into oblivion. But if you are an blogger you will be famous.

Free blogging platforms aka blogger / wordpress.com have some advantages and some disadvantages.
They have their community and they can reach your blog like blogger-blogspot have next blog, they can easily be followed by other users and commented.
even can monetize (not sure for wordpress).

But true power comes in your skill to write and SEO.
I was saw some google plus pages better ranked then blog. It seams that blog don't have good SEO.

I am for self hosted WordPress. Why? Because I find out that can be customized very easily and no not only theme.
You can have custom page templates, custom 301 redirection, custom 404 page, whole bunch plugins like shop, membership, affiliate, mail list etc.
Some from your effort some from plugins.
When comes SEO you need plugin to help you to optimize you WordPress blog (just help).
There are SEO ready paid themes.
Its on you:
to be good blogger, Be in touch with visitors and other bloggers, share your blog with others, build backlinks and have good reputation as blogger.
