1. Increase in Site Performance: Our web hosting performance is already fast since the use of high-quality hardware and network available but CloudFlare enhances the increase in website performance via global CDN.
2. Built-in Security: CloudFlare ensures that you are protected and secured from the unnecessary range of threats.
3. Easy to Enable : CloudFlare is easy to install, doesn't require extra effort for installation.
4. It's free! : The best thing about CloudFlare is it cost zero. You don't need to pay.
If your website has the static contents then it's always recommended to use the CloudFlare. CloudFlare used to cache the static pages and when someone browse your site then the site used to get load from the cached data. It reduced the site loading time. That is site loads very fast. CloudFlare has the best security approach.
CloudFlare is good CDN, but a CDN like all others in the market. It is just that they specialize a bit more in web hosting and offer services to end customers. @VirtuBox, it looks like you are very enthusiastic about CloudFlare They'd not do better job with their marketing than you did
The CDN caching makes content delivery faster and some CDNs like CloudFlare block some security threats. Some people would add bandwidth savings...
It is a bit faster and easy to install, which are pluses, however I am not really sure how secure it is, because you can never be too secure. At least there is DDoS protection, so that's definitely good.
CloudFlare DDoS protection is a bit cloudy tho ( The free one at least ), as it brought down sites before with small DdoS attacks.
It's good if you're not expecting DdoS attacks, and will stop script kiddies ( if you hide all your IPs with it ), but if you are hosting a bigger site and expect DDoS protection, its best you look elsewhere
I visited a few websites that use CloudFlare and the sites never opened, and I would not to use it, better have a website that shows up than one that will not open and ask if your using CloudFlare seek your admin.
