Personally, I recommend WordPress, it is widely used and supported.

I choose Wordpress because it has more plugins, simple to use ( can add/ remove widgets), easy to install a new theme without more works, easy to get high rankings because of more SEO plugins built for it..and more on.
If you are going to use a platform for blog, Wordpress is the best, even you can make it into online bussine by using some plugins such us ecommerce, woocommer..etc
