You need to find reputable web hosting services and see their reviews first before purchase their hosting plan. How long they are in business is really importantHi there,
There are the newest web hosting services. Could you give me any tips how to decide which web hosting package to buy?
Does it much depend on my plans about web site?
I only host my domains at Godaddy, not for hosting. Maybe your website is less traffic or small so you didn't get problems with hosting at godaddy. my sites hosted at Godaddy (~$10 / month) and must move to a new shared and VPS hosting.
I chose one of vps hosting providers at VPS hosting offers on this forum. website is running well now.
I think you should switch to a VPS, you will feel its strength and it has more features without on shared hosting.
If you need my support on how to choose a vps, shoot me a PM :big_boss:
1. It's not typically recommended that you host your traditional website on a platform such as windows. Keep in mind that software such as Apache, PHP and MySQL where developed for best functionality while under a Linux based operating system. I would also avoid any provider that offers Windows 7 as an operating system choice, as under the Microsoft SPLA agreement it is not possible to offer this legitimately, thus showing that the provider is illegally using software and could be ordered a take down notice at any point in time. When you are going to choose a web hosting service you should notice on
1. Get enough Disk Space
2. Check Bandwidth for data transfer capacity
3. Look for uninterrupted Technical Support
4. Ask for Cpanel Access
5. Secure your website with SSL Certificate
I suggest you to go for cheap windows vps. They are providing
1 GB RAM (VPS)
$10 / month
1 Intel CPU Cores @2.0 GHZ
1 GB Guaranteed Memory
40 GB Solid State Drive Space
1 TB Monthly Bandwidth
1 Gbps Network Port
Windows 7/2003/2008
Remote Desktop Access
24*7 customer support.
Both Arvixe and Host Gator are EIG brands.Well, it depends on your requirements, but I suggest you HostGator or Arvixe for webhost and GoDaddy for domain names.
I don't recommend free host ever if you want to stick in online business...If u wanna go free, then hostinger, otherwise ixwebhosting
Could you elaborate as to why you recommend these two providers? What are their strengths? If u wanna go free, then hostinger, otherwise ixwebhosting
