Difference between Yahoo mail and Gmail?

Well, Gmail is an easy option like many have said above. However, I would suggest you to register your own vanity domain name and to create your own unique email. Both domain and web hosting account would cost you $30 - $40 per year or even less.

I think the difference is gmail is easy to use, you can create your account in an instant. And gmail is more user friendly.

I have both Yahoo mail and Gmail but mostly I just use yahoo because it's more user friendly for me and very simple and also it's the one I've been used to for quite sometime now. I think both of it is good though.

I more comfortable with Gmail and there are more option you can use to make your email more usable and easy. Yahoo is just a simple one. So thats the difference between the two.

Gmail can be used to log in on youtube, blogspot, google plus. Which we use frequently, also Google has better customer support than Yahoo. For me if I had to choose between those two, I would choose Gmail. Plus it's a lot more stable and you can store up to 15GB on it.

If you are into the security of the emails too, then gmail is the best. I have never had of a hacked gmail account, those that claim to have hacked into one simply play with our minds. They open their own and perform some long processes, that are of no use, then display the password they set themselves.

The differences between Gmail and yahoo mail are that Gmail allows for a bigger attachment size than yahoo mail, Gmail is more user friendly than yahoo mail and I guess Gmail is better at screening spam than yahoo mail.

I recommend gmail both for efficiency and security. I still have a yahoo account and the integration of yahoo from other platforms is really hard. Unlike Gmail where you can easily access with chrome and other platforms. Also Yahoo had been breached before so i think there is still a doubt on their security.
