Is it hard to learn Adobe Photoshop?

I have some works doing with graphic tools. I tried photoshop but I didn't get results as my expectations so anyone here with more experiences with Photoshop give me ideas to do the best graphics with photoshop. what do we need ? and is it hard to learn Adobe Photoshop?

Any thoughts ?

if you are starting to use photoshop, i swear its hard,..so many tools you need to learn...but if you will get used to it u will probably loved editing at all time,,, try looking for tutorials in internet, that's what i did when i'm still a newbie in photoshop...

You can search different sites to learn about Adobe Photoshop and whichever site you feel have easiest tools to tough you about Adobe Photoshop you can follow there instructions and start learning, at first it'll seem tough but after some retrials you'll able to get command over it.

Stick with it man. It can be difficult to get to grips with Photoshop, but once you do - a world of possibilities will open before you.

I started messing with digital design before the internet, actually it was before Windows! - can you believe that? and I'm still learning today. There is a wealth of info at your fingertips just reach out and absorb it.

Yes there is a huge learning curve but stick with it your efforts will pay off. A great instructor and Adobe Guru is Terry White. Google him he has many informative videos, you won't be disappointed.

@Arossi, I've not ever heard about Terry White, I knew abit about photoshop, some techniques I learned Eyesondesign, photoshop cafe and videos from lynda. May be Terry is famous in recent years. :blue_bandana:

its not hard to learn photoshop, the hard thing about this is how you can create effective design using photoshop. You must view some inspirational design.

You may feel it hard now but when you start learning it then you will know how easy it is. I had started learning Photoshop with my own and by doing many small works in Photoshop I learnt many of its feature and functions.

I use pixlr.com. I find it to be extremely user-friendly and also easy to find tutorials on. Best of all, it doesn't require you to buy it. You can simply go to the website and start using it immediately.

There is also an express mode that lets you do more simple modifications. This cuts down on all the features, making it more straight-forward.

It is not that hard to learn graphic design in Adobe Photoshop. Why? Well, my mom is just a High School graduate no knowledge in using a pc, when she started she just uses the pc for surfing. Afterwards both my parents entered a business in Graphics Designing. And I saw how much they both master Adobe Photoshop than me.

If I compare myself to them, If they are 5 levels they are considered as level 4 and me just a mere 3.25. So how did they learn? They asked me over and over when I don't use the computer then I showed them a couple of tricks then I also told them to enroll in Youtube University for free. So I was so surprised my parents old and no background at all, and now they're the ones who answers some of my questions with regards in Photoshop.

Don't be discourage every problem has a solution, it's just a matter of looking for it.

You need patience in learning Adobe Photoshop because it is a powerful yet intimidating graphics design software. You need to learn and memorize the functions and capabilities of each tools in it. But with the help of online tutorials and your relentless effort you can easily learn this software. Focus is one of the key in achieving such goal.

adobe photoshop is a broad software when it comes to creating or modifying your own design.. you can get used to it, all of the people who is now expert in photoshop drive first the same path as you are, but now look at them they are now expert in making design.. so how bout you? of course you can do it also..
but first you need to learn the basic tools in photoshop then master the pen tool and i think pen tool is the most powerful tool in photoshop then, second make some time to learn more and more, you can watch videos in youtube there's so many out there and third the most important you need to master the patience.. in my experienced patience is the most important because if there's no patience you will never learn.

It is actually quite easy to learn Photoshop, you just need to watch some videos online to give you a hint on what you should do when you are using the software. I personally learned using Photoshop through watching some videos on Youtube, and while I was watching some tutorials I opened my Photoshop in order to do the steps with them. After a few days of frequent use of the software I later on got the hang of it. Thanks to Youtube on giving me a kick start.
