No, you need to learn everything about Photoshop. All the tools, settings, how to use it. It's very easy but you need time to make sure that your imagination become real specially when you make design. If you need to edit some photos you need to learn the basic editing because you are a beginner. Don't worry as long as you enjoy it you will never stop learning the Photoshop and by the way don't forget the shortcut keys it will help you a lot. Try to learn other software like Indesign and Illustrator they have similarities.

No, photoshop is really not that hard. It's just the matter of memorizing tools and functions. At first, things are hard to understand especially when you are not familiar with it, but gradually, with constant practice and some tutorials you can memorize the whole process.

At first yes photo shop is really hard. My advice is first you need to think of a concept on what kind of picture would like to do. I tried to take a photo of my self and try to do lots of experimental specially on the tools cut, crop, copy and paste these are the common things that you can start tot do but next to that is the layer of the picture. thaen after that you can know start to try chroma fx then the colors the brushes. or much better you can watch some tips and tricks in you tube.

Definitely Not, in learning something new specially a software like Adobe Photoshop wich is incredibly powerful but also intimidating application, first you must put in your mind what your primary objective is, what is you're goal in learning this application? Then this goal will serve as you're inspiration and motivates you to learn the basics like understanding the use of each and every tools in the toolbar what are the functions of the palettes, and what you'll find in the menus.

If you have the imagination in creating designs then learning Photoshop will not be that hard for you. Just have fun exploring the software first and do practice design on your own. Learning is not easy if you're not dedicated and practice makes perfect eventually.

I've been asked that question a couple of times so far, and I always reply the same way, "practice makes perfect". At first, Photoshop might seem quite hard to use and learn, but you get better as you explore the different tools that it has and whatnot. I personally believe that in order for you to get better at it, you really have to believe in the fact you can do so. Many people just start using the program and once they realize it's "hard" they just quit, that's completely wrong. I mostly recommend people to go onto YouTube and browse for some effect tutorials, that's how I learned at first.

We have the same idea lingfart, I started using photoshop to make clickbait thumbnail to attract viewers to my channel. I was so desperate that I force myself to learn how to use it. That's true to life story, but still, it's the content that matters. Now I'm enjoying photomanipulation, just having fun creating art also experimenting photo editing. I watch video tutorials to answer my question on using some feature that I'm not familiar with. The Very important thing is not to lose interest in photo editing because if you do, you will not learn how to use it. In the end, Photoshop is easy to learn it only takes time.

for me photoshop is so hard to learn, i used to go to school for me to learn and my motivation is if i learn the photoshop then i can be a graphic artist/designer and i can make money for being a freelancer and this is my motivation, to create money using the skill you acquired and then i did it, so now i'm using photoshop for business making logo's for customer's, editing graduation photos and even the dean or department head in my school is now my customer and i am the one who make the handbook for our school because i'm a college student and earning for being a freelancer because of photoshop, so if i made this the you can make it too.
keep motivating yourself to learn first the basic and then if you know the basic make time to explore the photoshop and you can make money if you have a courage to be a freelancer by the talent you learned.

Well, Photoshop is a bit mind boggling at first sight. Because of its layout, there is a lot of options and tabs to click in order to make your wanted changes to your image.
When I first used Photoshop I was a bit intimidated at first because I don't know what I should click. In order for me to learn on how to use the software, I watched some videos on how to use Photoshop for about an hour. That was the day that I started learning on how to use Photoshop. After a few times of using Photoshop it became easier as I used it more frequently.
Don't be afraid to seek for help if you are learning something

Pewdiepie is one of my favorite YouTubers. He has the most subscribed channel on YouTube. I find him to be very funny and witty. One thing I noticed is his thumbnails for his videos. They're very unique and mostly hilarious. Then I figured that he made the thumbnails using photoshop since there are some videos wherein he just kind of edits different pics using the software.

Then it hit me - I could use photoshop to create awesome thumbnail images for my articles in my websites and blogs too! I could make them interesting in order to increase the chances of the article getting more views.

The only problem is, I don't know how to use photoshop. Do you guys know how to use Photoshop? Is photoshop hard to learn?
You are absolutely correct that you can use Photoshop to create awesome thumbnails for your blogs and articles. Stunning images would help attract readers to open your articles. I might also add you can also create images for your tweets.

Now for your question: Is it difficult to learn Photoshop? Learning how to use the program itself is relatively easy. The program had a rich user-friendly toolbar that you can use right away. However, you might be overwhelmed by Photoshop's vast features and numerous tools, that you might get confused.
Also there are tons of tutorials in YouTube and other websites in how to use Photoshop. When you search though, be specific on how you would want to use Photoshop.

On personal note, I learned Photoshop by observing the graphic artist in the first company that I have worked with and bombard him with lots of questions.
If you don't have Photoshop yet and internet speed is not an issue, try Pixlr.com's Editor first. It's a web application that has a look and feel of an earlier version of Photoshop. It's free.
I hope this helps.

I must say that learning Adobe Photoshop, even any other programs, is not that hard as long as you have this two things. It is not necessary to enroll in an Adobe Photoshop course. All you have to do is to sit and relax in your room and have some coffee. Please take note that the approach I will be mentioning here is based only on my experience in learning new programs. Here are things you must have in order to learn new programs easily such as Adobe Photoshop

1. You must have an interests.

This is true in all learning process. Even how easy the program you are about to learn, if you are not interested with it, you will never learn from it. If you are having problem with lacking of interest, there are various ways to overcome this. First, try to install the program at least, open it, and have a quick look on its features - editing tools, commands, boxes, rulers and etc. I think this will not bother your feeling of lack of interest if you do so. Even without doing anything, this will register in your brain. the next day you will run the program, you will find and search for other details or information. You will be more and more curious.

2. You have to obtain a good learning material.
With various learning materials available in bookstore or online, getting a good material is important to consider. Some learning materials tend you to learn effectively compare to others. For example, I learn effectively through YouTube but with a specific channel who gives better tutorials than others. You must select according to what is suitable for you. You must be very careful on selecting with tons of information and tutorials available, as this will have an impact with your learning process. This will affect your decision on whether to continue to learn or simply to stop because you find it hard (only if you obtain garbage material).

Remember the golden rules: " I listen I forget. I see I remember. I study I learn. I teach I master. Good luck to you.

Yes at first it was hard indeed because you don't know what and which tools you need to use to edit your photo. But if you give your time and focus to learned what you need to know about Photoshop you will get used to it. Because based on my personal experience I've struggled also when i used it for first time. But i must learn how to use it because its a good software for editing and i don't wanna missed out the opportunity to used and learn it. So to become better at it i started to watch a youtube tutorial about Photoshop editing. And I saw what Photoshop can do in every photos it's amazing. And although i have knowldge now about photoshop i am not expert much. I am still learning and wanted to be an expert someday. :)

Just pick and watched the detailed tutorials and focus. You should also watch what photoshop version you like to learn and install it on your pc. Practice and love what you do. Good luck!:)

For me Photoshop is easy to learn, But it depends on you if you really want to learn this software give yourself time to learn. You can practice your skills in design using Photoshop. Just understand how to use tools and other effects. You can try it if you don't want Photoshop, you can use other software like illustrator or indesign.
