Is Photoshop Hard to Learn?

Pewdiepie is one of my favorite YouTubers. He has the most subscribed channel on YouTube. I find him to be very funny and witty. One thing I noticed is his thumbnails for his videos. They're very unique and mostly hilarious. Then I figured that he made the thumbnails using photoshop since there are some videos wherein he just kind of edits different pics using the software.

Then it hit me - I could use photoshop to create awesome thumbnail images for my articles in my websites and blogs too! I could make them interesting in order to increase the chances of the article getting more views.

The only problem is, I don't know how to use photoshop. Do you guys know how to use Photoshop? Is photoshop hard to learn?

It's not hard to learn. I learned Photoshop without going for any courses. The important thing is to find relevant resources which is for the Photoshop version which you possess. I like to search for the resources and sort them before getting started on learning new skills.

If you are good learner then nothing is hard. Go for it.

You can learn from w3 school. It's really good teacher. You will get all types of tutorials there. Make sure to practice the same on your system after learning so it will become easy to use. There are lots of videos on YouTube too. You can learn from there.

Also you will get tutorials on Adobe's site.

Well nothing is hard to learn in my opinion but also you should try hard. Photoshop is a bit hard and I just could not learn it in 1-2 years ago. But you don't have to learn all parts of it. Just learn parts you need. other thing I can offer you is just learn something easier first like Gimp or Illustrator. I think these are a bit easier than Photoshop and when you finish learning them,go to Photoshop.

I use photoshop, I have rudimentary skills. I can made logos, edit images, manipulate photis, do graphic desiging. However, I am not a professional. I took 6 weeks photoshot class. However, I did not have time to practice photoshop, therefore, I was limited with the basic photoshop.
Learning photoshop is not difficult, especially when you can find manyb tutorial videos on youtube. You can even get tutorial DVDs.

If you want to do edits like PewDiePie, then it wouldn't be hard for you at all to learn Photoshop. Start off by learning basic stuff like cropping out images, how to work with layers and so on by watching YouTube videos, that's the best way to start and you can start doing edits like him in a couple of weeks, it isn't really a hard task if you invest some time in it and only if you're ready to use your creativity.

For me, it really depends because if you really want to learn stuff. Your eagerness to learn will help you learn faster, forced learning is boring and hard because your not interested on the task your trying to accomplish.

Adobe Photoshop is not that hard to learn as long as you want learn then i know that you can learn. One more thing "you tube" is jack off all trades site, though you don't have any hint of idea about Photoshop just search about "basic Photoshop"
in you tube and go! There are many tutorials that you can find there. Once you learned the basics of Photoshop you will found out and come to the conclusion that Adobe Photoshop is not that hard! You just need initiative to explore the app and learn new stuff on your own discoveries! One more thing you must also learn how to use Adobe Illustrator to make it perfect for WEB DESIGNING!

Photoshop is easy if you are interested and willing to learn. There is no such thing as easy without trying your very best and working very hard to do the basic tutorial to master all the tools and techniques of Photoshop. You cannot master it in just one night or a week, you have to do it every single day to be able to familiarize it, like what I say in the beginning, you have to be willing to learn and be patient because it will give you hard time and headache sometimes.

Since you're watching videos from YouTube, why don't you search for Photoshop tutorial videos? I'm pretty sure there are so many video tutorials and trick hacking tips for Photoshop and you don't have to rummage the search engine. Thus, it's so easy, and thanks to YouTube.

THat depends on you if you will dedicate time for learning and persevere. For me it is difficult to learn at first but you gotta have patience and try to be a good learner. One of my friends at first found it difficult to learn but with the help of tutorials on youtube she was able to master it. There are a lot of resources you can find nowadays, make sure to make use of it.

The first time I used Photoshop was not easy. I struggled a bit and I really want to learn. It was my daughters bday and I have to make a design for her tarpaulin and I have a design in mind. It took me hours to finish with slight imperfections.
After that I love playing with Photoshop and eventually learned. Can't learn Photoshop in one day, it takes to time, practice and learn each symbols.

Photoshop is not that hard to learn. Specially when you really want too. I've learn the basics just by google and watching youtube videos for tutorials. I also found that you can easily learn if you use some images that you really want to edit i.e. if you want to make your own id picture, you go take picture of yourself and enhance that image.

The difficulty level depends on how dedicated you are. For me, learning Photoshop is not so difficult because there is a lot of resources you can find in the web. Learning how to use the tools is the first thing you need to know. Get familiar with Photoshop environment as well, so it's easier for you to navigate.
The best advise I can give you is to make use of the Pen tool. For me, it is the best marking tool so you can properly cut the objects and manipulate. Good luck and be creative. We know you can do it.

If you know how to use simple image editing software like Windows Paint, or any photo editing apps in your phone, then learning photoshop will not be so hard for you. Its just getting familiar with the mechanics of how Photoshop handles the job. Once you are familiar with basic functions of different tools then from there it will be easier. Practice makes perfect. Give it a try.

No, I don't think so. Photoshop is easy to learn, as long as you have the program, you can even ask your friends on the correct usage of photoshop, or ask them on the functions of each tool. Once you know what are the functions of the different icons and tools in the application, you can then try to explore and discover how to create a good photoshopped image. If your friends doesn't know, you can even search it on Youtube which offers variouse tutorial videos.

Yes it's hard to learn actually, better find someone to teach you or take a photoshop lesson. But it's feel cool when you learn how to use each of those tools, create or edit some photo you like. It's pretty useful for the future. You can learn it from youtube too.

Absolutely not hard to learn. I learned Photoshop CS 6 just by self study. I just watch YouTube video tutorial for beginners then as I move a long I started to play on the buttons in Photoshop. It's hard at first but once you had the grasp on it. you will surely enjoy doing Photoshop.

Based on my experience using photoshop, it's not that hard. Maybe in first days you are starting to use the application. But once you memorized all the tricks, the use of each command, especially keyboard shortcuts you can easily operate the application. My advised is watch some video tutorials for beginners and do some research because there's many tutorial now in the web, you just only need to do the instructions, step by step and be patient.
