Plesk or Directadmin?

I can not go with cPanel because its price is expensive, I am considering between Plesk or Directadmin but not sure which one is better at this time? can anyone suggest me a good hosting control panel with high quality but good price?

Unless you are running complicated tasks, I think that Directadmin should suit you well. You'll definitely save $$. Plesk is great, but all of the features aren't usually necessary for beginner-moderate admins.

As THG Hosting said Directadmin is more basic and easy to get thins done with. However, Plesk is a very solid panel. For production, we would strongly go for Plesk.

I will suggest you DirectAdmin Panel that works better than the Plesk panel. The reason behind its database Plesk control panel.

DirectAdmin is more suitable for offering traditional shared hosting accounts for a wide-variety of client end-uses.

Plesk has some nice features for WordPress, but DirectAdmin can provide similar features across a wide-array of use-cases.

thanks you guys for your advice, i decided to go with Plesk because as said, it is easier to setup and manage components on it withouyt manual setups like Directadmin. But price of Plesk is a bit expensive with me. Plesk Web Admin Edition for VPS is $9.17/mo, is there an reliable place that selling plesk license with lower price?

DirectAdmin all the way. It's way easier to manage than Plesk.

Both are good but I like using Plesk than Directadmin because its control panel is simpler than Directadmin.

Hi, If you want to buy cheap and best hosting panel then DirectAdmin is best for you. DirectAdmin is cheaper than Plesk and also simplest control panel to access in comparison to plesk.
One thing i like about DirectAdmin is that its faster than Plesk because it consumes less server resources.

Directadmin without a doubt, but the new skin is very much needed. Most of the users are not that technical and care more about a nice interface and directadmin is seriously lacking in this area.

Let's hope the new skin finally comes at the end of summer in the southern hemipshere

DA looks to be a good entry level for basic management and hosting services to offer to your client who they just need a simple tool to manage their web presence.

Plesk (though belongs to the same group of ownership as cPanel is), the control panel itself has been very stable since the version of v12 and with the move to Onyx (v17) and follow by the latest release Obsidian (v18).

Compare against with DA, Plesk has a solid backend and you can mix and match with the varieties of extensions available to strengthen your offerings to your client. It's migration tool also allow you to easily migrate accounts from cPanel over. cPanel to DA appear to involve some extra manual steps to get things right.

Highly recommend DirectAdmin, I've never had any issues since I swapped to a provider who provided a reseller plan with DA, they've improved it 200% in my opinion and isn't owned by the same company as cPanel & Plesk with their atrocious price hikes.
