Hello everyone. My name is Namerie and I just joined this forum so I thought I would introduce myself.

I'm getting ready to start some web design and development classes in college so I am looking to learn about some of the different aspects of web design, web development, web hosting and other topics that are related. I really liked the design of this forum which is what caught my attention.

I'm not a complete newbie to these fields but I have a lot to learn and that's one reason why I joined this forum. I have used Wordpress to create a couple of blogs for myself and also for a couple of other students that go to my college. I know a little bit about some different things that have to do with websites also and will try to help others when I can.

Thank you everyone for the nice warm welcome. On a couple of other forums that I went on several months ago I was not treated nicely because I am a girl and there was a lot of male macho attitudes. It's nice to see that things are different here.
