We have a business vehicle that we use to connect with the locals, we fix technical issues for companies in the Houston area so I guess that would be a form of selling products that is besides social media and anything online.

Just out of curious, how did you sell your hosting via Adsense? It is for monetizing your website and YouTube channel and that's for publishers.

According to me, forum ads is working better social media if you choose right forums that related to your niches. On social media today they only interact on likes and comments and rarely click on website link to visit your website and reading offers there. That's only my experience since advertised my digital products on social networks.

I have a couple of friends that are resellers of web hosting services and they have told me that they do well by advertising using Google AdWords as well as Bing ads.

They also put up banner ads in forums that have members of their target audience and do well using this to gain clients/customers.

Good morning,

Currently, we advertise our business by local relations. We recruit sales operator which has good relations with enterprise owner, politicians, and other persons which may need to make (or host) websites.

Yeah, we did this too and can confirm it will work. Unfortunately some people think that because it's an online company, then all marketing must be done online. Especially at the start, hosting company needs word of mouth than anything else because most customers don't really understand it and they need to trust the company first. After that, if they're satisfied they will refer more people in.

But that does not answer OP's question so here's a tip. Look out for businesses or non profits whose websites doesn't look that great. Most people who's starting their hosting company have technical skills and free time but no customers so do some free work, improved their website for free but offer paid hosting, with special discounts. This goes a long way towards building good will and some word of mouth marketing, and you can still do this all online. Just make sure your sales pitch emails doesn't look too spammy though. Make it personal.
