I am just curious if Google considers domain extension as a keyword or not? Any thoughts?

Doesn't seem so according to this link.
My honest opinion - unless you want a specific ccTLD or generic TLD (.solutions)m stick to .com, .net, and .org.
I'm a fan of .io for tech companies, though.

Domain name extensions have no effect on search rankings in Google and other search engines. . Apart from the domain name extension or TLD, the keyword used in the domain name also has no effect on search rankings.
