Hello, can anybody suggest me some tools to automatically detect VPS that doing abuse on OpenVZ 7 node? I only found Nodewatch and VPSMon. But they're outdated and only run on Centos 6 or OpenVZ 6.

I need to detect these kinds of abuse :
  • Spamming
  • Malware / Miners
  • Outgoing Flood
Thank you.

On OpenVZ 7 I’d ditch Nodewatch and go with a combo of modern, distro‑friendly tools:
  • CSF/LFD – it’ll parse your mail logs for high outbound mail rates (spam) and block abusive IPs.
  • PSAD – watches iptables for port‐scan/flood patterns and alerts you.
  • Maldet + ClamAV – cron‑scan your containers for known malware/miners.
  • Falco (Sysdig) – real‑time container‑level anomaly detection (suspicious processes, crypto‑mining syscalls, etc.).
  • OSSEC/Wazuh – a full HIDS for log monitoring, file‑integrity checks and custom alerts.
Glue them into a simple dashboard (Netdata or Prometheus+Grafana) so CPU/network spikes and floods pop out immediately. That stack will cover spam, malware/miners and outgoing floods on an OpenVZ 7 host.
