My old Samsung Laptop has Intel Celeron 2 cores 1.10ghz max speed of processor with only 2gb of ram. I'm thinking to reformat it to make it better and faster if can, but I'm not sure if Windows 10 can make a difference here, currently, it has a 64bit Windows 8.0 installed and somehow I can't upgrade it to either Win 8.1 or Win10. So I need to reformat it to change to Win10. Please help need some advice. My question Can it make a difference changing from Windows 8.0 to Windows 10? :):)

The big question is, what are you using the laptop for and why do you feel you need a different windows version?

With an old laptop with only 2GB or RAM, Windows 8 or 10 are already too big to run really fast. You should take a look on Ubuntu flavors for a laptop like that, almost all applications are available on Ubuntu, and it require less resources to run.

Just for surfing the internet, watching youtube, check emails, etc. Simple tasks for daily use of a laptop that will not hindrance my work, no heavy graphics intensive task.

My advice bro is to go to the original OS of the laptop when you bought it. Upgrading OS doesnt really make sense if you are still using the same hardware. Most of the time upgrading to the latest OS makes laptops run slower. Just reformat and stick with the same OS. That will do the trick. :ertery:
