The high performance of the server is the most important attribute that a company should consider. Without this anything they do will be wasted.

I am just curious how to measure these factors over a VPS?

Seem a VPS has already got them if they are being putted on a good dedicated server, right?

The number 1 benefits of having dedicated server is solemnly use, it means to say the server resources is not shared exclusively for you. Enhanced performance and security that guarantees maximum uptime of your website. It also provide server unique IP address. Flexibility of customizing the server to clients needs for CPU and software. Having a dedicated server is the prize, mostly dedicated servers have a better plan cost that privides flexibility and options for the customers.

A dedicated server per company (operating in an online setting) is a necessity. This is a basic requirement plus thinking about the consumer/customer feedback. Without a reliable server the website will crash, if it happens that a lot of people are visiting the site at once.

The benefit of having a dedicated domain server, the company could choose the size of the hard disk to be used. The company also has all the rights to do configurations of the software installed. The server is private and protected too. No outsiders could take a look at the data.

I guess the main difference is cost per resources. With VMs you will pay a higher amount for equal resources to a dedicated server. If you dont need a lot of resources a VM is adequate. With a dedicated server you also are assured you're getting 100% of the resources. With VMs its sometimes hidden if you're just getting say 10 vCores that are equal to maybe 3 real cores(an example). Ultimately I see this is as a progression, you grow from a VM, move to a dedi, then move to a colo and actually own the physical hardware, then move to multiple colos to an eventual rack where you lower your overheard to basically the price of a VM per 1U.

One of the main advantages of dedicated servers is that server resources are not shared and you have them all for yourself. This type of hosting guarantees maximum uptime for your site, and that’s why dedicated servers are most suitable for high traffic websites, websites that deal with financial transactions, big eCommerce sites, and sites that manage or collect sensitive data.

With dedicated servers, you get improved performance, stability, and top-notch security. By choosing a dedicated server, you may be sure that your site won’t be affected in any negative way since you’re no longer sharing space with a potentially malicious site or a potential spammer.

By using a dedicated server, you have the opportunity to choose the platform or software that you need and you have the flexibility of customization. You’ll also benefit from having a unique IP address.

Dedicated servers may be a little bit more expensive than the other types of hosting, but their advantages are unsurpassed. In fact, choosing a dedicated server hosting is a cost-effective solution and it saves you a lot of time and money on building your own infrastructure, on buying equipment, maintaining the server and so on.

and top-notch security
What? is it better security than a VPS?
I think this depends on configurations or levels of sysadmins that it doesn't come from VPS or a dedicated server.

Here's a quotation of a nice explanation that I've recently come across in one article:
''Dedicated servers are generally said to be more secure than VPS. This is because in addition to all the usual threats that any hosting plan must face, VPS servers have a particular weakness that dedicated don’t: the hypervisor.
...The hypervisor handles creating and managing each of the virtual machines (allotments) on the server. Most viruses only affect one virtual machine (i.e. a single user account), but in some very rare cases they may actually be advanced enough to bypass the hypervisor completely, spreading to all the accounts on the server.''
