I prefer having my own business.
I was working on a very good position in a bank in London.
However I decided to resign from it for the sake of growing my dating sites in April 2012 and Thanks God, I am very successful with it now.

As we all know that now days only money matters it does not matter from where it is coming from, so choose the one profession which gives you lots of money with satisfaction, I got satisfaction by doing business as it allow me to work freely without any dominance.

Business is always better option as your business grows you also grow every step of success. Also working as employee have certain age limit. So what after job.. So if we have our own business future is more secured.

If you want to retire early, establish on a business venture. :) I'm still tied up with a company though, but I'm saving to invest before I turn 30. yay!

It depends on the business and the job, ofcourse running your own successful business and being your own boss is the way to go.

There are two types of people in this world.

1. People who are perfectly happy working for others.
2. People who are happy with infinite income.

The world and people are more complicated than that, it is not white or black.

The answer depends on what type of person you are. For me I choose business because the sky is my limit, however business is not for everyone. If you give up easy, can't put our fires, and need someone looking over your shoulder to make sure you are working, this is not for you.

If you work harder than you probably have to and enjoy it, then you are probably hooked on having your own business. In my opinion business is what it's all about!

The problem is some people look at a job position as if you will always have a boss, and you need to do what you are told. There are many well paid and respected job and no one is the boss of no one, take physicians and professors jobs as a small example.

I'm more like a business guy, but I never run away from a job. I learned myself that you have to grow from bottom, so both are fine for me.

Business, but the happiness having a buddy from job or the experience meeting differrent people and learning from their stories are worthless.

the business is much more profitable if compared to a jobs. But if you don't have the experience or the cost to finance your business, whether or not you should work as a worker first and collect the cost to build your business?

People who are doing jobs usually say Its better to have business than this Job, People who are at their initial stage (struggling phase) of business usually say rather than this I should have gone for a Job.
The decision depends on person to person & their respective capabilities.

I am working at Zubera Classifieds,World's best free business classifieds site for real estate, jobs, services, community and much more. I am at current satisfied with the roles & responsibilities but somewhere in my mind there resides a wish of having my own startup as well.

I would say, both Business & Job are good, Its the way of doing which differentiate the good option from Bad ones

Generally you can run a business in those scenarios:
-you continue a built/maintain one (family legacy, being a partner with someone who retired or let you at the lead)
-you build one yourself after you worked alot (job position(s), hierarchical growth etc)
-you make or win some money and then you can try to initiate one or more kind of business that may be successful or not

As I see things, you always work behind a business at a certain job. Only when you earn some money (lottery/sell/etc) you can afford to name someone or pay someone to run a business for you

I prefer Business more as I'm more in control unlike when you're working for someone you have no assurance that your job will take care of you.

Just one miss step or just get caught up on an office politics then you're a goner! regardless of your tenure.
