You can't have one without the other really, but if I had to choose, I'd go with business as it is usually something that you love doing, as opposed to being in a workplace, wherein as the days go by, you learn to love it more and more each day.

A business for me. I like being able to have my own business. But I would want to work around others as well because I love people.

Job and Business are the two main source of income. And I prefer Business. But when you are born in a not so rich family, you have no choice to get a job. It is not easy to find a good job especially if you not finished your studies. If we say a good job, it is a job with high salary, good employer and stress free working environment. As a middle and lower class in a society you should get a job first to earn money to start a business. Job is good but you have many rules to follow unlike if you have a business, your boss is yourself. You have your own time and you earn money without thinking if it has a deduction like if you have an employer. You can watch your earnings and as long as you live and you are good in handling your business, your business will never leave you until you get old.

If we turn back time where the barter exchange is the only way of trading, that time money is not important. But now, whoever if asked, old, young, rich and poor, there is only one answer - money is important. How much is the importance of money? Nowadays, money is like your love ones, if you are not with them you are sad, if they are gone you cry, problematic and you don't know what to do. Just like money, if you don't have it you are sad. You can't buy what you need, you can't buy what you want. But don't ever be the slave of money. Be the master of it. As the Scripture says, "for the love of money is the root of all evil." Money is important but do not depend your happiness on it. There is also things money can't buy. Spend money wisely and be generous.

Business! At least you can have more control that way at least to my mind. A job is just a job and they all get boring and frustrating sooner or later.

If you have the capital then no doubt business is much better. But if you don't have the capital then you'll need a job. For me i'm into jobs now because i want to save money to start a small business and then the rest will follow.

Choosing JOB over BUSINESS? What field will you choose to have a successful and better life? How can we differentiate, define the two? JOB a paid position of regular employment, a task or piece of work that is paid. BUSINESS rather is an organization or economic system where goods and services are exchanged for one another or for money. For me ad long as you are happy or content with what you chose to do in your life just go with it, no one can judge you how you approached lufe, as long as you are doing it legally and your happy with it.

Hello,

Just putting a simple question here, hope I can get ideas from all of friends on forum

Between Job and Business, which one do you prefer ? and why ?

Thanks in advanced!
I prefer growing a business for obvious
reasons. When you have your own
business, your the boss, you decide
everything and a huge chunk of the
profits after taxes goes to you.
No time pressure, you'll work at your
pace. Downside is....if you make a
wrong decision you'll also reap the
consequences and your business
suffers and loses income.

Success dictates having your own
business is a must. Your name can't
end up in Forbes Magazine or you can't
get rich if you don't have a business.

No one gets 's really rich on just working that's if, you really want to get rich. When you have a business, you will be your own boss. Very pleasing to the ears right? to have your own business?
But if you will be going to start up your own business, you must be equipped not just by resources but skills and experience as well. So I would advise before you are going to put up your own business, you must gain experience by having a job.

Let's say you have your own business, but you are lack of experience and skills-- how are you going to operate your business when you know nothing.

If I'm going to choose base on what I want I choose business.
But if I'm going to choose base on my needs, I choose a job, because I need to build up my skills and experience first.

People nowadays are dying hard to find ways how to accumulate money. But what if you are torn between having a job or putting up a business? Which do you prefer?

For me, I would like to establish my own venture; my own business. Because I can manage my time properly and I can be the "boss" of my own business, without any hesitations and hassle. Plus the fact that the money that will be earn will be totally and definitely generated. I will be able to give my devotion, skills and talent on my own business.

But it doesn't mean that having a job isn't good. It was just my opinion.

Business for me, a job is a good way to earn but its basically not stable and you can only work until for several years. A business is wise because it's basically your call, your time, and your profit. As long as you are persevere and consistent your business will support you through out your lifetime.

If I have enough money I prefer to have a business, but as of I will choose job first, because I want to have more experience, I want to practice my knowledge and gain knowledge from others, after that if my money is enough I will go to business.

Choosing between staying employed and starting my own business is a critical decision I have to make in order to establish my financial stability. But in doing so, opens me up to a lot of risks. In order to be successful, I have to play it smart.

At this point in my life I still have to keep my job while starting my own business. I still have to learn techniques and strategies from my mentors. In their more than 30 years of running the company, they sure have a lot to offer. I just have to prioritize the areas I have to focus in learning the skill. And they have a wide network which I can only access because I’m affected with them.

In this way I’ll be having the benefits of both worlds.
