Windows 7 hands down! I know a lot of people that bought new computers that came with WIN8 and decided to downgrade to 7!

I have observed that windows seven is much faster then any other window version but on the other hand apart from being complicated windows eight has many features as compared to seven.

i think window 7 is best. window 7 is faster then window 8. Window 8 need big ram for Work. The Settings tab is comparable to Conditions, however principally deals with what happens if your task does not run (or takes too long). you'll set it to run ASAP if it's uncomprehensible, stop it if it runs too long, or let multiple instances of the task run directly.

Window 7 is best for me all times, because such kind of features do not uses in the window 8, just for the look and graphics work window 8 is better than 7 but in quality wise it is not as good as window 7.

Windows 8 looks like complicated. Not as easy as Windows 7. I think graphics are better in Windows 7 too.

I'm using Windows 8.1. It seems a bit buggy, but it does load faster than Windows 7. I think I liked Windows 7 a bit more, but I decided to get Windows 8.1 on this new PC I got, and I am not going to switch back to 7.

Because Windows 8.1 is too new so I sure that It still has small bugs on it, it needs reviews from users to improve functions and need time to become perfect.

windows 8 boots up faster and has better performance because it consumes fewer resources.

Lots of people crap all over Windows 8 because the start screen looks different, but really that's the biggest difference, and that's only cosmetic. All you need to do is make one click and you're right there to the familiar desktop, with your icons, taskbar and the usual stuff, so the start screen is really just like an opening "curtain" to that, rather than a radical change, like so many think it is.

I actually prefer it now, as I still have the normal desktop that I have customized with all my work related shortcuts, plus I have the start screen, which I have customized for entertainment only, with tiles for games, online TV, weather, news, etc. It's a great setup.

I have 3 laptops, and the Windows 8 one loads the fastest, at only 5 seconds. My previous one took so long I could go make a sandwich while it was booting up...lol

8.1 works as good as win 7, you may install it freely.

For touch devices Windows 8 and 8.1 is best and for non-touch computers Windows 7 is the best operating system.
