Best FTP Clients for Windows?

I would like to know what are best FTP clients for Windows? I've used cuteFTP in the past, but there seem to be basic program to transfer files between my Windows and my hosting. Are there other professional clients which you would suggest?

Hi Alex,

I've always been a fan of winscp https://winscp.net/eng/index.php as I'm often using FTP and SCP it's a solid little program with all the features I need.
FileZilla is another good option and very popular https://filezilla-project.org/ but I have experienced weird SSL/TLS problems with it before.

Winscp should use for VPS but it is pretty slow on Windows. I am using FileZilla and agree that it's a good one to transfer files or do commands to manage a VPS.

I have been using FileZilla for like a zillions years. FileZilla gets my vote.

I have good experience with both FileZilla and CuteFTP, however at the end of the day is down to personal preference.

The best one for me is FlashFXP.com wonderful program, otherwise if you want something free my votes goes to SmartFTP

I don't use filezilla anymore because transfert are pretty slow and it store all passwords without encryption.

Currently Cyberduck seems to be the best one with caching to make transfers faster and FTP, SFTP, and several others protocols.

FireFTP by far the best Ive ever used. No frills, free and always gets the job done.

What features are you looking for, specifically?

On every windows workstation we have the following installed:

- Filezilla
- WinSCP
- Putty
