Which Hosting panel is Best for Wordpress Linux or Windows

Since i'm a blogger, and i want to work on CSS, and i m thinking to buy hosting panel from Godaddy, it has two options for panels, one is Linux and other is Windows, so help me which one should i choose?

Unless you plan on utilizing ASP.NET / ColdFusion, then Linux would be your best choice.

you will must rethink if you choose hosting with GD, I used hostings there but have too many problem with it.

try go web hosting offers on this forum, more good hosting providers offering good services there.

If you're talking about using WordPress, stick with Linux. Your life will be much easier.

Actually, I got a recommend from web design service to use linux for PHP. Wordpress php platform thus Linux would be better ..!

Php is better choice

wordpress is made in php and mysql, linux hosting is more preferred, thirdparty plugins, etc supported more.

I recommended to choose Unix Hosting, if you use:
Apache
MySQL
Perl
PHP
Ruby on Rails
.htaccess
cPanel or ISPConfig
WordPress, Joomla or Drupal

I recommend to choose Windows Hosting, if you use:
IIS
MSSQL
ASP.NET
.NET Framework
VBScript
Plesk

First, I would not buy hosting from GoDaddy, but that's just me. For blogging and working on CSS, I'd recommend Linux. @malikshahid3232 made some good points as well.

WordPress well works on Linux platform for the core engine developed with PHP scripting.Truly WordPress is an open platform that run on any hosting as it requires minimum server settings. YOu can select anyone as it does not impact on site performance in terms of technicals

All of my WordPress sites have been hosted on Linux and over the years I have never had any issues.

Although I haven't used Windows, from other webmasters I know, I am told that for WordPress you should choose Linux.
