Hi Kaz,

Your root domain is mydomain.com so use mydomain.com/forum instead of mydomain.com/forums.
The reason is simple:
You are opening a forum in your root domain, means single forum, not multiple forum.

You can understand with another example like:
If you have a single web hosting offer, you will save Best Web Hosting Deal.
But in the same way for multiple offers, you will say Web Hosting Deals.

Conclusion: Go with mydomain.com/forum, if you are writing a blog or anything else on you root domain.

but in mydomain.com/forum I will create more forums on its board.
I tried to research some big forums on the net, but I am still confusing because some are using forums while some only using forum.

I would recommend using /forums because a community forum is generally made up of different forums so it would make sense going with forums.

I would have gone with /forum but it's always up to your personal preference. The move is as simple as moving all your files to a folder called forum or forums. Then make sure to change the permalinks settings for your forum to ensure everything is alright
