Is a .eu domain name worth buying? how does it compare with a .com domain?

If you find a free domain with .com it is the first thing that you should buy as it is the most common to users and best to remember. ".eu" domain is good also if your target market is Europe or the website has information on or anything about European institutions/projects or the products are sold only in Europe.
