Right now, I want to check out which platform I could use for me to start a blog site. I want to create blogs that pertains to life, travel, and food. I have been checking out on Weebly and Wix lately, and find out their differences, yet I am still undecided. Can you suggest on which is easy to use in terms of design, SEO friendly, creating traffic, and looks good too even if I am opening my blog site on my mobile? I would appreciate if you have other opinion, or if there are better platforms other than those that I have mentioned.

I would suggest WordPress. It is very user friendly CMS which allows yo to create the blog in various themes of your choice. You can decide which theme to apply for the blog. There are paid themes too which you can use. There are number of plugins available with the WordPress which you can use for the blog. Those plugins will help you to apply the security as well applying the SEO too.

I would also suggest WordPress as this Content Management System was meant for blogs. It has many free themes and plugins available that can be used for SEO and other functions. Almost all of the new themes have responsive design that look good on desktop and mobile. However, if your concern is security, then WordPress could be the worst choice. Then I would recommend Wix for the easy to use functionality.

+1 for Wordpress. Search fro a nice the @ Theme Forest and in a few minutes you are ready to go.
Don't install plugins that you might not need and always keep updated your code. Good luck madame!

As a beginner, you'll want a blogging platform that's easy to set up, and doesn't require any coding skills.

You'll also need to think about what kind of blog you want to create now and in the future.

I'll go for WordPress.org. Theres thousands of free and premium themes available from WordPress. This allows you to create a beautiful website

There are plenty of blogging platforms, but all of them have different approaches.

I'm putting the best foot forward here and starting with the great WordPress. This platform is easily the most popular choices for bloggers and web designers of all kinds.

Well, if you are just beginning to make a blog site. There are lots of platforms to choose from. I would suggest using Blogger from Google. Blogger helps you build your first blog site quickly with its very useful customization. But if you will be making a professional blog site then WordPress is best to use. WordPress is well-known for its intuitive content management system. There are tons of templates to choose, so you can build your website the way you intended.

I would also recommend you try WordPress, as there are many tutorials which may come in handy to you if you face any problems. Also, there are many nice-looking WordPress themes which you can choose from. Another reason to choose WordPress is because there are hosting plans that are designed specially for WordPress-based websites, so you can get the best out of them.
Other alternatives to choose from are, for example, Joomla, Blogger, and Weebly.

+1 for WordPress as well.

Lots of great reasons above, but one key one element that's been missed...proprietary systems. Years ago Wix was avoided due to it is using Flash. It had zero SEO abilities, and limited who could view the website since a lot of people were moving towards devices, and those devices not supporting Flash....but a very import aspect with almost all website builders...you cannot keep your content. Many people would create detailed websites and blogs for their needs, and decide to change hosts or upgrade to something better, only to find out that everything cannot be saved or exported, essentially having to start over from scratch, or cut and pasting every single page to the new website. For some with 4 or 5 pages, a few cut and pastes were not an issues. Others with more involved websites...weeks and weeks of cutting and pasting everything. Hiring someone to do that task would be costly.

With WordPress, you would not have such restrictions...and with WordPress evolving so much over the years...there's almost no limit to ideas or designs. If you chose to move to another web host, the content can be easily moved. If you decide to change themes, your content would be safe.

If you have more questions, any one here will be happy to help out :)
