Hello! I've been learning the concept of both photography and videography (Film-making) for almost 2 years. I never enrolled in multimedia , graphics, or anything related to those. I am just a hobbyist and these field are my passion. I am also a freelance photographer and videographer. I work semi-professionally. But as of now, I want to take it professionally but I have problems whenever editing especially in Color grading.
I personally can't master the color correction / color grading especially in RGB curves. Some told me that this tool can enhance an image or a clip. RGB curves have 4 selections: The "Master" curve, "Red" , "Blue", and "Green"
Some told me to correct an object first using the master curve. I already understand the concept. But, I am having trouble when balancing the Red, Green, and Blue. Does it have limitations or concept when to use those? I mean should those three be adjusted when correcting an image / clip? Or you can just play with the two? I get stuck all the time whenever I am editing. Does this also depends on the picture? Can you enlighten me? Thank you for all those who will respond.
