For me, Paypal is safer than credit card because doing online transactions are more safer than using credit cards in a way that Paypal can hide your identity and information in buying online. Unlike credit cards, paying methods are more likely exposed to the hacker as you provide your credit card number which the hacker can used your information in illegal used.
Attackers/hackers easily get information of the credit card by the power of malware so let us be careful in doing transactions online.
We don't want to get our money by somebody as that easy and also our identities so let us used paypal rather than credit cards.

My partner and I have not tried using PayPal or credit card in purchasing something online. We are very cautious in using both in our online transactions. We had already purchased several items online from trusted sites; and what we did was, we paid the items when they were delivered to us. We paid cash and signed the papers that shows we recieved it. For us, we think that it is safer not to use paypal or credit card in purchasing items online. For us, it is better if we pay it cash upon delivery. We do use Paypal only for receiving or forwarding money to someone we already know or company that we already trust. And we only have to put exact money needed in our Paypal account. We don't use credit card for online transactions, because credit card is something we can't afford to be in the wrong hands.

I am more comfortable using my Paypal account for confidentiality purposes . Limited information can be found on Paypal , compare to credit card. Technology plays an important role in our society .The information found on credit card can be used unintentionally that can withdraw your money anytime, anywhere around. while Paypal account , you will be informed if the cash has been deposited to your account. Then that is the time you can withdraw your cash. You can make your withdrawals on installment basis. Without the hassle of bringing a credit card with lots of money in it.

When it comes to paying online, I am a little skeptical to use my card because I don't know how safe it is and it is hard to trust your card's information to somebody you are unfamiliar with. But I want to shop online but I dont know which is safer to use is it Paypal or a credit card?
Both Paypal or credit card could be used. However, you should have an extra careful because there are some wicked people out there whose job is to steal the money. Since credit card has a credit limit, if scammed, you will pay much up to the amount of your credit limit. For example, somebody stole and hacked your credit card. If your have 100,000 credit limit, the robber could use that amount in purchases or withdrawals. Therefore you have to pay that whole amount.

For me it's Paypal. I've been using it for a long time and didn't encounter any issue using it. I doubt if using credit card online is safe and i don't want to try it.

For me the safest when you paying in online is PayPal because they secured your account and I have never encountered any problem when it comes to PayPal. And also you can change your password immediately anywhere you are using your phone. Unlike credit card that you put all your information.

Well, paypal and credit card is safe but i would suggest using paypal than credit card, it's much safer because someone might use your card unknowingly it could be much safer if you use paypal. Though it has restrictions but much better to be safe than sorry, and also in paying online credit card has it's super charge, what i mean is they charge us a big fee to have the transaction be completed while paypal has it's own fee but not as big as the fee of the Credit card.

I would choose paypal when purchasing online. Paypal is really easy to use and in the same time it has a good security measure when it comes to account information. So far paypal has not failed me and I intend to use it more in the future.

I feel more safe with Paypal than credit card. I mean, I think it's risky to disclose your credit card information. But, I know some people still prefer this option and they say they never had a bad experience with it.

When I've had issues with PayPal, they were very quick to solve any issues that I've had. I like that you can send money to others on paypal but what I like the most is that if you have a business paypal, you can create a pay button and receive payments. With credit cards, it's a known fact that credit cards come with some sort of protection against a lot of issues that could happen. But with credit cards, it also can take some time for your issue to resolve. I've had issues where when I'm trying to pay my credit card balance and it taking more than a week for payment to go through.

It's a Landslide Vote for Paypal, paypal wins this but, then again it's always up to the paypal account and Credit card owner on how safe his/her accounts will be, those two may have the security features but if we are careless then neither of those two is safe. Still, it all falls down into how cautiously we use our paypal and Credit cards.

I agree with most of the post that PayPal is much better than Credit card since PayPal is mostly used by business people over a decade already. It's reputation cannot be question, just be careful in every transactions that you will do in order to avoid being scammed online since scam sites are everywhere just waiting for you to take into their trap.

In my opinion, it is much safer to use Paypal for online transactions. Paypal does have your credit card details but they also have a system that protects your informations from being obtained. I have been using Paypal for quite a while and I haven't encountered any issues so far.

I think Paypal is safest than credit card. If you give your information directly about your credit card chances are they're gonna hack your account until they swept all your credit balance in your account. There are lots of issues about hacking their credit card so be aware of that. Technology nowadays can do anything so be vigilant about giving your personal information especially if it involves money. Paypal is safest because they have personnel to monitor their site so it's hard to hack your account in Paypal.

Having a credit card is a lot convenient, because shopping online needs you to have credit card and I agree with you that I also feel unsafe whenever I use a credit card, wait for your monthly bill, and scrutinize whether or not you really purchase those amounts on the bill.

You still use credit card on your PayPal for verification. Yet, for paying online, it is safe to use your PayPal instead.

This 2 ways of paying online use same process and carrying vital information about your account and everything. I would suggest to make sure first that the website and the item that you're getting is not a scam. If you can avoid buying stuff on a non trusted sites please do it so. Now a days we really can't say if paying online will always be safe. But one thing for sure the blame will always be on us. Sadly but that is the truth. Being suspicious, observant or O.C. (obsessive compulsive) is not that bad specially if money is involve.

I definitely think paypal is safer. I do not think it is safe to give your credit card info to random people online. With paypal, you can initiate disputes. This can sometimes save you from scams, since paypal will refund your money back if they see that you were wronged.
