Which is Safer: PayPal or Credit Card?

When it comes to paying online, I am a little skeptical to use my card because I don't know how safe it is and it is hard to trust your card's information to somebody you are unfamiliar with.But I want to shop online but I dont know which is safer to use is it Paypal or a credit card?

Like you, I share the same concerns.Entering my credit card information gives me a nasty feeling every time it comes to payments.This applies to all sites that ask you to use your credit card to pay.It does not even have to be about payments,some sites ask you to enter your card information to prove that you are of legal age and when it comes to this I just ignore the sites completely.I prefer using PayPal instead.Even when I don't have any funds there I would just rather withdraw funds from my bank and use PayPal to pay.

For shopping purposes I would recommend using PayPal.It is way safer and it will also make you feel good knowing that no one has direct access to your bank account.

I would use Paypal, I find it safer as your card details are not given out. Paypal is also an online trusted payment system that has been in use for many years. Nothing is 100 % considering the word we live in however, it's better than giving out credit card details online. Paypal is also accepted by many merchants online.

It can also be used by other sites especially if you're from outside the USA to verify your address, this shows the level of trust people have.It will not transact with online merchants it finds dodgy, which is extra protection for you.

Paypal is the best option. It is the commonly used payment gateway due to it's security. If you will choose the credit card then you will need to enter the card details which is not safe. You will need to enter all card details including the card number so it's risky to share those information.
There are chances of card details getting hacked as you share all the information.

There are various incidence where the card details getting hacked and someone used all the money on the card so it's not recommended option.

I use paypal and I've been paid thru it. Never had any issues so far hopefully none in the future. As far as more recommendations is concerned, most people do recommend using paypal for business transactions on line. You need to link card/cards on your paypal account, in my case a wallet visa. Paypal protects information about your card. They do have their own security measures. Base on surveys and opinions on line, i would recommend that you use paypal.

For me i would consider using paypal. In my opinion it is more safer to use. I also hear positive feedbacks that they are more secured transaction wise. And lastly, they have other services to offer.

i think where the talk about trust you have to move with a huse band which is paypal and it is more safer to use insted of credit/debit card

Online shopping or any online financial transaction should be done with online payment system. PayPal has become the top global online currency system in this present generation. They have overcome the security issues of using personal credit card. They made the payment procedure fast and reliable. So I recommend you to use PayPal. Use credit card on personal payments only.

I highly recommend Paypal when it comes to paying online. It is proven safe for our financial transactions. I have been personally using Paypal for years and have not experienced any problems at all. In addition you can also use paypal for cash in transactions and it is also very easy to use and convenient. You can easily install the app on your phone for free.

I will go with PayPal on this one. Although I do have both a PayPal account as well as a debit card. Paypal is much more secure. Paypal doesn't play. they will protect you from your own account. Thats how safe and how much you can trust them. So yeah, I'd go with Paypal!

Both are pretty safe. I've never had any problems. In reality, it doesn't matter how cautious you are. If the online seller you're doing business with is suspect or their site has been compromised by an attacker? You're gonna have problems anytime you purchase from them. Just like everyone else will. However, paypal allows you to avoid any vital data or information ending up in the wrong hands if you pay directly from your paypal balance. Even if the site you're using gets hacked or already is hacked. Because when using paypal you're not entering any card numbers or codes to complete your order. However, that doesn't mean a compromised site can't drop a tracking cookie into your browser or PC and snatch your info later. Which is why the best form of protection is to only shop at sites you trust.

I would say that Paypal is more safer way in terms of Sending money. We know that Paypal is a reputable Comp. and also have good security features. But always make sure the legitimacy and also look for site rating and feedback, its the best way to make your money safe.

For me I preferred to use paypal. From shoping online to sending payments Paypal is the safer and easier to pay.It's easier to use Paypal because you don't need to put the whole details of your acount but only your email address that is connected to your Paypal account.

Personally, I would suggest using Paypal in dealing online transactions. Truthfully, I see the use of credit cards can post as a risk of having information be compromised. So I tend to use paypal more, I feel secure and it is very convenient to use

I prefer paypal because it's safer than using credit card in online payment. It's hard to enter your card details when making online payments. You'll never know if it's safe or someone is copying your details. There are many cases/scenarios that when you enter your card details in making online payment your card details already copied or hacked and they will use it to purchase items and you will be shock when your statement will be delivered. Unlike in paypal your details are very safe and when making payment using paypal all you need to give is the email address of your paypal and paypal is legit and convenient.

I go with Paypal. It's much safer than using your credit card. The use of credit cards is so crucial for sometimes it might be saved from the web or apps we're using on our phones. We may lose our phones with apps or wallet built-in app is there with our credit card info, but with Paypal, you just have to enter your email associated with your account.

Paypal is safer than credit cards. Paypal is has different restrictions in every country. Having a paypal account is so convenient, you can shop online, recieve and send money, pay all your bills. It's one stop shop!

It doesn't matter in my opinion:

PayPal - has their buyer protection so you can get your money back if it falls bad.
Credit Card - has their chargeback solution to get your money back if it falls bad.
Debit Card - has the same as the credit card but it is a big harder to get your money back.
