Which is Safer: PayPal or Credit Card?

I have been using Paypal for the past months to receive my salary from my online job. It's very secure to use since your personal info. is less exposed than using credit card. Credit card is susceptible for online criminals to use and copy your card just by copying your card's details and etc. Let us all be careful and use the safer method as possible specially during this holiday season.

I would prefer to use Paypal as well. It's much safer when you don't have to give your card number to everywhere you shop on the Internet. Paypal has long been proved to be secure and perfectly reliable, both for buyers and sellers. But nothing is completely safe nowadays though. I guess data breach could still somehow occur in the future. Regardless, up to now, Paypal is secure enough to keep your money safe.

I find PayPal safer than credit card when buying online. Credit card is affiliated with your bank, if someone messed your card when paying online, it is a big problem. Unlike PayPal, you can insert enough amount of money to buy something. Say for example you're gonna buy a book online for $50, then load $50 to your PayPal account, not to mention additional charges.

You are putting your trust in the payment processor that a specific online shop you are shopping at uses. There are giant very trustworthy payment processors like Stripe or 2Checkout. There are also many smaller ones with dubious backgrounds.
You never actually make payment at the online shop. You will be redirected 99% of the time to the payment processor.
The advantage of PayPal is that only PayPal processer PayPal payment obviously. So you are 100% safe.
