When it comes to website designs they vary. There are sights with lots of colors, some with only a couple. Other sites are very flashy while others are simple with only the basic things on it. What do you think is better? Simple designs or complex designs?

I think it depends on the person's image for the website. For instance, myself, I might want some simple while others complex. However, though, the reasoning would be sort of irrational - is due to the fact, I often search around for the perfect theme, find a complex or simple one, fall in love with it and then am very reluctant to change it. Anyway, though, you cannot deny that something simple can be made to look a little more complex by simply adding a complex logo and images.

I believe simple and user friendly, after all, most websites have the purpose of getting you to purchase something or take an interest in a service. If the website is complex and not easy to use then the customer may navigate elsewhere hence costing you a sale or lead.

If you are a web designer and wants to demonstrate your ability to design websites, a flashy complex design might help you. But in most other cases, I prefer simple designs as the user will have a better experience and it's easy to focus on the content of the site.

I think making a website design complex is only going to eat up resources, we don't intend to make it complex, but the urge to make it beautiful lead us to that path.
The ideal website is a simple looking one who have complex coding behind it to make it run fast and smooth.

It really depends on your target market. Flashy set up for a site means your target is people who are more into aesthetics, visual attracted to the site. Simple site designs are for more of a professional approach. Their target audience would be people who are more on what is the content of the site.

it must be depend upon your product that what you are going to offer, because a complex design shows like funky and it uses more resources where as is you are going to provide anything in which not so much things to have to promote then a simple website is more reliable because its response time is less and using very less time to open so its totally depends on what you are going to provide its totally depends on that.....
