I have purchased a new VPS and my hosting provider gave me 1 IP but I have more websites and I may add per IP per website or should I use one IP for all websites? what is benefit of using one IP or Multi IPs on my VPS?

Just don't waste money or IPs, there isn't any benefit. For more you can read here: https://kinsta.com/blog/dedicated-ip-address/
Since you can use one as shared IP and everything would be ok, additional ips might be needed if you have several services in your vps like, mail server, nameservers etc.

One shared IP between all websites will be absolutely fine, its quite few and far between that you'd actually require a dedicated IP for each website now days and doing so serves little benefit.

In the past I used multi IPs with directadmin to make SSL ( https ) work for website website but now I only use one IP for all websites. Buying extra IPs will cost you more and it is not recommended to do that unless you wanted per website per IP.

Really, there is no use of buying multiple IPs. Some people would use it to host multiple SSL backed sites or when they faced downtime issues. Some also used it because they had to manage different email addresses. So unless these are your cases, I would say it's not of any use honestly.

As long as the sites don't link to each other, it will be ok. Otherwise, Google and other search engines may penalize the sites in rankings, if they use the same IP and link to each other.

I guess you already know, but for those who don't - DirectAdmin has SNI option which allows you to have multiple sites on the same IP, whilst still letting you use SSL for all of them.
