I am looking for help desk script that can help me manage support tickets. I would like the tool to be able to convert email received via an email address like myemail@mydomain .com into tickets. The tools should have web interface which allows users to log into their account and track their progress or responses. Support team staff should be able to reply to the ticket from a web based user interface and manage whatever tickets. Does it need to run with a CMS or a software for this task?

Googling gets me lots of results but what I would really like if some one recommend me the best ones.

I know EZPZHosting and InnoHosting use a plugin to do something like this. They obviously had a custom one made.

If there were one provided from a reputable person/business I would consider using the same for ours, though offering End User Support isn't without its issues and so not 100% sure about providing it, maybe with a different brand, perhaps. ;)

Ideally you can build a customized solution. However if you are already using a billing system like WHMCS (or even if you are not). It will be more cost effective to use something like WHMCS (which gives you this ability).

Is this pertaining to running a web hosting company? If so then I know WHMCS and Clientexec will both do these. So I would first look at the billing system you are utilizing and see if that is a solution.
