There is several popular channels to attract users to your site:
- SEO, SEM
- SMM
- Online adv: CPC, CPA, CPM etc.
- Content-marketing
- Email-marketing

How to convert this users into customers - it's another story...

1. Open pages/accounts/groups in social media, that use your target audience
2. Start publishing (what content - see in "Content-marketing")
3. Promote your page and publication within social networks
4. When you get some followers, convert they with contests, discounts etc.

Content-marketing:
1. Research your target audience and undestand information needs of each segment
2. Start blog on your site, start publishing your content on thematic resources, social media etc.

If content will be qualitative, interesting for your target audience, it's appear in search engines results, people will start share it to their friends via mail, social media etc.

Hi Jonathan!

That's a question which indeed has many answers! So putting my thinking cap on and wanting to keep it simple - here's my best advice....

When it comes down to one thing - then its got to be "list building"... Think about the number of people that visit your website and never return... Okay lets turn the tables and ask - how many great, awesome websites have you visited, booked marked and never returned too??? ... I bet you its a lot, like myself as with most people... Further most folks are skeptical to buying into a deal on the first visit.... they need a little more persuading - which leaves one very important strategy that being list building and email marketing.... ;-)

Also if you're putting money into ads - lets say promoting affiliate products (noting if the ad platform permits it) then even if people buy the product - you will NOT know who they are and the vendor gets the details for the email list so that they can keep on selling too again and again...

Hence not collecting emails is leaving a large amount of cash on the table....

So my best advice is to focus your efforts through list building, with offering a great incentive such as a free bonus e.g. ebook in return.... To develop a relationship with providing great advice and help.... and with that you get the opportunity to promote products and make sales!

Its an old technique, but for me list building in 2015 is as relevant and as important than ever.... For a long time I regretfully didn't pursue this as much as I should have, but that is the gift of hindsight... and today I regard it as being hugely important.... With your list your reliance on other traffic means diminishes.... and that is a great thing!

I would also add that once you have that targeted person on your list, you build trust and a relationship with them and ‘hold their hand' through your carefully designed pre-sales funnel. Give them plenty of useful and helpful information that is easy to understand and digest and related to your product. Don't simply jump in with sell, sell, sell. Don't be arrogant or big headed. Don't be a smart arse. They will run a mile if you do. They may not even now that they want or even need your product yet. It is your job to convince them that they do. They may have other options. They may not be ready to buy. You need to prepare them to buy your product. Ease them into it through your emails and other free info. Give them continued value. Slowly introduce your alternative and then sell when you have convinced them that you are what they need. if your product/service is right for them then they will buy.

Think like a customer. Respond as a marketer.

Here's a technique:
Let's say your niche is Fitness as an example....
1.With dummies.com and answers.yahoo.com you can get content for your ebook.
2.After you finished your 12 chapters ebook (+/-) 80 pages, you interview 4 fitness experts,
via Skype to create 4 audio files.
3.With camtasia(Windows) or movavi(Mac) you make 4 screen capture video's from your 4 best chapters (With Powerpoint presentation).
4.Look for BIG fitness websites and tell them that they can sell your ebook for $10.
And....the site keeps the money, the only thing is, when someone purchased your ebook from this fitness site,
the customer will pay the fitness site, but must download it from your website.
This is how you get emails on autopilot.
5.On the last page of your ebook you can write something like:
"If you liked this ebook, and you want to know more about it check the following link:
And this link brings the prospect to your sales page with

A. The (same) ebook with 3 more chapters
B. The 4 audio Fitness experts files
C. The 4 video files
D. A 3 month email subscription with fitness questions
E. A 3 month skype contact one on one
F. Bonus ebooks about fitness schedules, fitness food plan etc.
(The ebooks are private label rights ebooks that you cheaply bought)
And this all for the price of $497

With this technique your email list and product sales will grow on autopilot!
So when this works, scale it up and contact other BIG fitness sites..!

Wow great comments above guys, you really hit the nail on the head with some great answers. I personally use my YouTube channel to drive traffic back to my own blog and a few free training products. I do a live marketing chat Sunday nights and get around 10-15 people to come ask questions. My biggest marketing tip is build a relationship with people by helping them out with the little steps you might know. Don't sell to people, that will come with helping.

I have not got more experience about marketing on Youtube or video marketing, should I create my own videos or hire a video maker to create video for me?

I would like to know about traffic come from videos or ways to get traffic from video to our website?
Do you have any advice?

I can give you some tips, first do keyword research with seobook(.)com > keyword tool. When you find the keywords for your niche that are getting views, make a video with those keywords. As for should you do it yourself or have it created, it depends on your niche but you can always use Fiverr or the marketplace to hire some quality work.
