They are so many strategies in the INTERNET MARKET right now and so many of us have lots of them that they apply to their businesses that works for them...

Now the question asks if you are allowed to use one out of your multiple strategies, which one of them will you choose to be using,

For me I will continue making use of links building to my platform so that my platform can still be solid for users to find on search engines...

If I had money, then I'd focus on pay per click advertising, but if I had none, I'd focus on social media. Of course, that assuming as the OP does, that you can only choose one strategy. Anyway, though, I can see how other people might choose other options. For instance, free guest posting might be a more attractive choice than social media for low-income webmasters and SEO might be a more attractive choice for richer ones.

Lol @jyy it sounds funny that it is a very hard task for you to choose one strategy, and same will be with others choosing one strategy will be so difficult but I want to see how the game will look like if it seems to happen, though it won't happen but let's know the real IM users that can face anything at anytime...

Also your second choice of guest blogging is also nice for people to make use of and get enough back links to their sites and that will make enough sense as I just said,

A small business running on a very tight budget normally will concentrate on SEO strategy centrally focussed on content management.

The essence here is to build awareness on your company, products and/or services in the hope of attracting visitors to your website.

I think I would use the Affiliate marketing strategy since theses are the most commonly used techniques by some successful company in adverting a product or services in the market. Besides, it is very simple and convenient to use since it is systematic and well organized. Affiliate marketing will really boost traffic in the web and in the market and as well as the sales collection of a company.

In my own interest and opinion, I would use Youtube for my business to be advertised and all not just with videos but also surveys and everything that I can do with Youtube. Youtube can work not just in my local region but it can also reach a humongous target audience anywhere around the globe. My business can be known and it can boost up my Business if not, it can really help in anyway with my business.

Actually, pay per click advertising is not cost efficient if you have a small business as you won't be able to scale up quickly enough and lose business.
The best thing is to build your fundamentals: social media, forums, paid blogs, paid youtube videos.

I would focus on page views/being paid by advertisers to include their ad on my webpage. Though that does take a bit of work to get there, i.e. getting good search engine rankings on Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ask, etc (Does anyone even still use Ask lol). But pay-per-click is usually pretty... unproductive. Especially now that the newer generations are coming up on being able to actually search the internet well enough to know not to click on ads, your revenue would drop like a rock in the coming years. Social networks are also a big "page/view pusher" as well, for sure.

I know there are lots of approach to be successful in online business, but if I am to choose a strategy for internet marketing, I would go on "Networking". I know this word has had a bad impression in my country, but I am talking about expanding the chains of whom I am connected with.

An individual with lots of friends will go along way in life, because one way or another, he can ask help from them, and in return he can offer one, but an individual with lots of friends who uses the internet in a good way has an edge to make his business grow, by just having referrals.

So I see this strategy as a good way to be successful in the internet market.
