Hi, everyone. Can anyone verify whether that Public Interest Registry" (PIR.ORG) is in charge of .org domains ?

That's correct! Public Interest Registry is the in-charge of .ORG domains. '.ORG' domain must be submitted to it for verification. Web registrar will send it automatically after your register the .ORG domains. These domains are for non profitable organization, educational firms etc.

The domain .org is just a website for non-profit organization so it means you cannot use it with your business or else your site will be terminated. As far as i know no one have ever used .org extension for online money earning purposes.

When the .org domain extension first came out it was intended to be for non-profit organizations and other similar types or organization but you do not have to be one of these types of organizations to register one.

Anyone can register one for basically any reason. You can have a blog, ecommerce website, business website or anything that you want on a .org domain.

It is just a little confusing or misleading to some people though who expect them to be for non-profit and other similar types of organizations so it's usually best to use another domain extension for those uses.

The top level domain .org is traditionally been registered by not-for-profit organizations like charities and industry groups. However, anyone may register a .org domain for any purpose these days, at least from what I learned. There are no restrictions on ownership for .org domains. Many for-profit companies use .org domains to contain philanthropic or other social ventures.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. You can register it without an issue now, but it is typically used for non-profits.

If you're building a website for commerce, I would advice against the .org domain. .com seems way more natural and commerce oriented.
