Following are some Server Monitoring Tools
  1. Datadog. Datadog is a cloud monitoring as a service provider that allows IT teams to monitor their entire infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud deployments, and applications.
  2. LogicMonitor.
  3. Zabbix.
  4. Monitis.

There are many server monitoring tools available now in the market, how ever efficiency that it provides is what the most expected of it. since most of the server are moving into cloud. we need to have vigilant outlook towards server monitoring tools before we opt for the service of one. My favorite kaseya, Nagios, Zabbix and Comodo One.

Nagios is one of the best yet easily configurable software for monitoring..you can even try some polished versions with nagios core like check_mk, icinga, nagios X1, etc or can even go with other paid solution based on your budget + your resources to manage them. So basically nagios+cacti is enough to monitor all basic resources.
