Having just tested this, it appears as though the posts are indexed similar to how websites are: Higher activity websites are indexed more often than those without. In a similar fashion, it appeared that more popular users were indexed faster than my own.
Where this all gets tricky is showing vs hiding personal Google search results. Even a public-facing post was not visible with personal results hidden, so the indexing may be similar in function, but it's clearly separate when shown in results. Additionally, Google Alerts did not pick up the result that shows with personal results shown. Thus, gauging accurately seems nebulous at best.

It depends on where did you post it, audience. Maybe it is necessary to make a few backlinks on this post to make it faster. Or you can try some tools to add your post immediately. But 2 days is not so long actually

It will not take more than 2 and 3 days to indexed post. If your content is unique and you posted on high page rank sites then it will take only 1 day to indexed content.

2 to 3 days is normal or even you get the process of indexing slower if your site is not updated regularly.
For some big and popular site, your posts can get indexed immediately after seconds when just published the post.
