Is Zoho mail safe?

Zoho is offering free 25 email account with your domain and it is attracting me to move my email from my hosting to it. I am just curious if Zoho mail is safe for business or not? Any one has good experience with this service?

Hello Mcottle, I have tried their service for few month and for a free service it's pretty good.
About the "safety", for business email, it's always better to host them yourself, but Zoho is a good solution.

I am using ZohoMail for my clients backend setup for more than a year. Not only the client is satisfied with that setup but they find it easy to use. There are no downtime and security issues. Also the features offered by Zoho are at par with Google GSuite(previously Google Apps). It is safe as it takes care of spam for you. I think for both business and personal mailing you can find it secure for everyday usage. You can also try it for free and then migrate to the paid plans.

In my opinion there are 3 options arranged starting from the best, second best and worst

1. You know what you are doing and are using your own mail service.
2. You don't know what you are doing and are using a good third party service.
3. You don't know what you are doing and are using your own mail service.
