Hello everyone!
I recently changed my shared server and switched to a VPS and faced the issue of setting up an email service. I would like to understand how to set up mail correctly so that it works correctly: for example, it doesn't get spammed and can send/receive emails without failures.
The hosting provider I'm working with (hostpro.com) has been great at helping me figure out the basic settings:innocent:, but I'd like to learn how to do it myself to better understand the process .
I would be grateful for any advice, links to useful instructions or recommendations on what to look for. In general, I have figured out how to configure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, but for example, SSL for the mail server raised questions for me. Because, for example, for the subdomain (my MX), the certificate is there, but on the SMTP port it was no longer there. Technical support set everything up for me, but I want to figure it out myself.
