Here is my question to you. Why do you want bargain reselling? I have no idea what your intentions are to do with it. If it is for personal use, give it a try if this is the only thing in your budget, hopefully it is good. But if this is for business purposes, I would stop where you are, and consider why you are getting into this business and think about what you can bring to the table. I promise you there is no money left in this business if all you plan to do i pick up a cheap reseller plan and dish out web hosting accounts. That way of making money has long passed. It is important to focus on something you do really well, and build a proper infrastructure and brand around that.

i've actually been comparing prices with other small businesses like me, and i try to adjust them and advertise my host
so i can attract customers. it still got me surprised because i didn't know this niche was this saturated.

Cheap and quality don't always go hand in hand, specially when it comes down to quality support. Like it was mentioned above the best way is to define your niche and work on it.

Web host who want to grab the attention of the users often reduce the price and give huge discount offers. But when it comes to the support that is the real test of the web host. Webhosting is a service, and the experience of the service can be known only after the service is subscribed for. Thus whatever the web host claim can be taken as the whole truth until it verified or a testimonial given by the users.

Lot of webhosting companies are out there, so you should give a chance to your customers to choose you as their host by giving a descent price and good server specifications, and honestly the SUPPORT which should be the best because you know most companies provide those things and webhosting is highly competitive field.

Anyway good luck

Hi Venahost,

If you want to provide hosting forget the whole reseller thing and just get a managed VPS. Little more expensive I know but worth it in the long term.

I have many former resellers of other firms that I've moved onto a VPS. Heard lots of horror stories from these customers about 5 hours to get an IP unblocked and days to do a migration along with down time and slow performance they could do nothing about and lost business over it.

Reseller accounts to me are for web designers or people wanting better security for multiple sites.

Anyway, something to think about.
