I don't know about vps or cloud but as per dedicated servers which we have with them, yes its 99% uptime.

We had used OVH in past by purchasing a Dedicated server from them. They offer unmanaged servers. Their network uptime is good, and their portal allows to do server hardware scan (atleast we were able to do it when we had account with them). But if anything goes wrong with server hardware it may take time for their support to respond and fix. Since they offer unamanaged server, it is difficult to comment on server uptime, but we had experienced 100% network uptime from them.

As others have stated OVH is a fantastic provider with one of the biggest networks on the planet, the result is rock solid stability. The only thing to bare in mind is that these are un managed services and as such, if you're not sure how to run a server then you're better finding another provider.

In regards to uptime, one of our servers is just about to hit 450 days up time.

That's some pretty nice uptime :)
I'm always scared for things to get that far without a reboot just to make sure the thing reboots cleanly and gives it a chance to fsck.
I've had some nerve wrecking moments typing reboot and pressing ENTER :computer: with 200+ days uptime

How can you track that? If a server has run for a long time, it should be restarted manually to make everything fresh back?

We use OVH for everything network is amazing I get 8ms latency from my office and all our servers are protected under the OVH DDOS protection any attacks have always been swiftly dealt with with no more than a few minutes downtime. But like everyone has said OVH are not a provider you use if you want support, even adding things like additional storage you have to install via command line and set the mounts etc. OVH is a provider for providers not for end user customers.

Any decent OVH reseller should have VIP support as a addon on their account, thats the best way to shorten down response times with OVH in our experience.

I have found OVH and its subsidiaries (SoYouStart, Kimsufi) to have great uptime. I don't recall having any downtime at all when I used them, both OVH and SoYouStart.
Support is slower than other options, but all the tools you need are available in your control panel.

Yes I was recommended to SoYouStart or reading more about this provider on the forum.
I am checking it if there are some fit my server requirements and budget.

I have one dedicated server with OVH which I have rented for over a year, till now I have seen my server going down. So I can say they are providing 99.99% uptime.

OVH has a low to no downtime. When there's maintenance they inform beforehand, you can also take a look at their 'tasks' page to see if there are any ongoing issues, however, you will almost never be 'completely offline'

Hello Harry,

My experience with OVH isn't the greatest, although I wasn't a direct client I worked for a customer of OVH and the servers where awful last summer. They were completely inaccessible for over a week and OVH took 3 days to respond to my manager.

Currently though, they are pretty good and have 99.997% Uptime most days, with a monthly average of just over 99%.

Although, I prefer UpCloud Servers with Uptime of at least 99.98% Per Month and the servers are about 3 times faster to ping, despite them and OVH been similar distances away from me. OVH Ping was 200Ms on average, and UpCloud was 80-100Ms which I found to be amazing for the price.

Furthermore, OVH often had ping spikes of up to 5,000Ms, where as UpCloud rarely had spikes that where above 400Ms, and spikes are only once about once day.
