My whole business has gone to hell by OVH

Hello

I started my hosting business around 15 years ago when I was 20 years.
after 15 years I hosted thousands of sites and VPS on 40 serves
I buy servers from several data centers such as Hetzner OVH .....

On 21 of April we suddenly lost access to our servers, as we logged into our OVH panel, it showed that 19 of our servers have been suspended because of an abuse report and that we should receive an abuse email indicating the reason for this suspension and the way to restore them.
It's been 17 days now and regardless of our many attempts to talk to support, we still received nothing!

the OVH support team says to me in every calling or chat or ticket "
Please note that your servers have been suspended for legal reasons ( legal team in Irland )
or
Thank you for contacting us. I inform you that your case has been updated on high degree of priority. You will need to wait for the response of the legal team about the details. As OVH support team we are not in position to share additional elements about the incident"

I did not receive any email from the legal team
I could not connect to the legal team with the OVH telephone number, then I went to the Irland OVH office, You may not believe it, but OVH has no office in the Irland
OVH closed her office in the Irland 4 years ago

9 days ago, I discovered that my suspended servers are being deleted one after another!!!

Hundreds of websites and VPS has gone to hell
The OVH was not even giving me the chance to save my data and he is still not giving me a reason for such actions.


I need help from everybody to give me a solution for asking ovh legal team to answer ticket #5384970 after 18 days

If this is true, it is really bad with a hosting provider that more people knew about.
I used OVH 3 years ago but I left them because when my websites got DDOS, they suspends my website and their anti ddos service didn't work or help my websites.

Wow this is bad for anybody to go through. Just hoping you have done backups of all your systems. That way you can start new elsewhere. Best of luck to you.

This kind of behavior is not expected of a reputable hosting provider. A reputable hosting provider's customer service should always be there to help their customers even during bad times.
Therefore it is always recommended to do your own regular backups. It could be hugely beneficial during the worst-case scenarios.

15 years, 40 servers, thousands of sites, and you don't make regular backups and store them in a different location with a different infrastructure provider?

How can you now be worrying about saving the data from the servers, when you should be doing it on a daily basis anyway?

yup, i agree with this :)
If you are renting your vps or web hosting, you should always to have backup for your websites. Its different if you stated on your term that you don't provide backup with your services :)

I agree with you and I don't think the story of the OP is real, the OP should show proofs, at least mails or contacts from OVH.

Like your comment, I have same problem with the OP in the past but with other provider, not OVH but luckily I have backups for websites

this same thing just happened to me at i rented a server on 8/30 i just got everything up all the way yesterday and today when i was at work at 9 am i got an email i need to resolve something (never said anything) then 2 mins later suspended no appeal for abuse i legit just use it for games servers and a website

they removed my account and refunded me so now i am scrambling to get the server back up

DONT RENT FROM OVH

they close ur account so u cant submit support tickets

my old contact was i emailed them about having a problem with there 'GAME' firewall then this

Large hostings do not pay enough attention to customer problems, so it is better to choose medium ones, with a personal manager, or good support, because each new client is much more important for such providers.

Recently I wanted to back to OVH server but when I read this, I am considering to choose another provider. Honestly I used OVH and it is pretty good until my website got DDOS attack then they suspend my server without any support for that.

i ended up going to bloom hosting same server about same price support is amazing and haven't had a problem yet
i think its a smaller host thats just expanded to baremetal servers so u might have to go on a wait list for it but its soooo much better than ovh


i cant post a link but its just bloom dot host

This sounds very bad. The user hasn't reconnected but I wish he managed to resolve it.

That's normally to any other big companies where customers are not treated as customers anymore but more likely numbers. Same is with OVH and the same with Hetzner, and i am pretty sure there are more big companies doing the same.
Best thing to have under your control is, finding an ISP have your own IP space, where you manage by yourself abuses and other issues, colocate or find any company that can announce your own ips.
